Taehyung has grown up to believe that time is a human perception. Every person's subjective experience of time and the duration of events differs significantly between different individuals. However, he also believes that everyone in this whole wide world will agree with him if he states that morning 8 AM lectures take the most time of the week.

He sits alone in one of the back rows of the gigantic lecture hall. This class is given on the other side of campus and therefore a twenty-minute walk from his dorm room. He hears excited girls talking about their plans for this weekend, the smell of their Starbucks coffees radiates across the room. Not a single person is paying attention to the lecturer in the front.

Taehyung stretches his arms out over the table and lays his head between his elbows. His mind is drifting off towards his pants pocket, where a pack of cigarettes lays. The cigarettes are the reason for his bad concentration; he missed his first smoke of the day.

Even though he had terrible hate for his morning classes he took them for a reason. He needed the free time to work the afternoons in Burger Palace. His resent for the place was clear. The stupid hat, with an enormous burger on top together with the red overalls and yellow shirt, screamed 'please tip me, I'm too poor to afford a normal side-job.'

As soon as the teacher spoke his last words of the lecture that needed to be revised later, Taehyung flew out of the door. The said boy looked for the first hideout he could find to hide from the rain.

The weather started to become colder. It was nearly autumn, and the second semester started this week. Taehyung did not know anyone in this school, yet, except for his roommate and his former high school friend. He did not have the time or the motivation to go out and enjoy the 'student life'.

Taehyung lit his cigarette and took a big breath for the first time that morning. The taste of the cigarette finally waking himself up properly. The iPhone 5 in his pants started to buzz; he tried to read through the cracks in his screen who texted him.

'Thank you for helping out this week'

Of course, I would help.

At 21:30, Taehyung could finally open the door to his room. In there he was met with Namjoon and Yoongi, both on the ground. In the corner of the room stood Namjoon's MacBook, connected to a box. Kanye West pouring out of the speakers in a reasonable noise. Taehyung threw his bag in the corner and planted himself face-first on the bed.

'Long day?' Namjoon asked, already knowing the answer. Taehyung had a long day, every day.

'Yes, I am never leaving this bed again,' Taehyung complained. His day had felt the longest in a while. The sound of Kanye made him relax a bit, his mind contemplating whether he should still leave the comfy spot to make some food.

'You sure? We just rolled a joint and I do not mind sharing,' Yoongi appealed while holding the goods up. Taehyung immediately found the strength to get back on his feet and move towards the door. That action immediately answered the elder's question. They followed the younger boy towards the roof.

The building had 20 levels; it gave the view of the whole campus. Nobody was ever allowed here but in Namjoon's second year at the university, a janitor left the keys in one of the supply closets. The said boy stole them and now had access to the whole building, including the rooftop.

Namjoon took Taehyung to the roof in his first week in the dormitory. Taehyung had already been working those long days and his roommate felt pity towards him. He took the brown-haired boy up to the roof and it gave Taehyung a feeling of peace. Nobody else could come here, except from them.

The roof was scattered with leaves and cigarette butts. In the small corner behind the vans and radiators, the wind was not able to reach them. On sunny summer days, they had cushions on the ground, however with the shitty weather during this period that was not an option anymore.

Taehyung stared out across the campus. Some people were still coming back from the library, others were already safe into their rooms, probably watching some Netflix.

'Tae, take it,' Yoongi passed the stick towards the younger boy who greedily took the stick in his hands.

'We're going to a party tonight in the frat house on the south of the campus, do you feel like coming?' Namjoon asked while looking at the tired male in front of him already suspecting his answer.

'Don't feel like it tonight, maybe another time.' Yoongi sighed next to him.

'You cannot just ignore your personal life, Tae. When was the last time you got laid?' Yoongi and Namjoon both looked at him and he answered quite shortly afterwards. 'Like a month ago, that's not too bad.'

"If you say so, but you know that those girls who are always ogling you are there too; what were their names? Dahyun and Nayeon?' Yoongi laid his arm around Taehyung's shoulder and looked him straight in the eye. 'Just come with us, for once?'

On the other side of Taehyung, Namjoon started to laugh, already reading from the younger boys' face what the answer would be.

'Fine'
