I woke up from the sound of knocking on my door. When I got up to open my door, Cody walked in.
"Mom said by the time she get back, we got to be ready. We visiting our other neighbors today."
"Where mom at?" I asked him while rubbing my eyes.
"She's grocery shopping"
I sucked my teeth. I didn't feel like leaving my room today. All of the moving and traveling we did and now that we're here I can't even rest.
"She said it'll just be a quick hello and bye situation. Just to introduce ourselves." Cody obviously noticed the annoyance on my face.
"Yeah right. You know when mom starts talking, she talksssss. Watch us be out for hours" I said while entering my bathroom, Cody followed me.
"Damn, your bathroom big!" he said aloud.
I brushed my teeth and washed my face as Cody explored my bathroom.
"Oh I've been texting Mahogany" he said randomly.
"Who's Mahogany?"
He just started at me like I was dumb, I was actually confused though.
"Last night... Our neighbors?" He said
"Ohhhh, oh yeah" I laughed
"Well that's cute, what are y'all talking about?"
"Mind your business bro" And with that, he left my bathroom.
I went to my room and made my bed. After that I scrolled through my notifications. I noticed that I had a message from an unsaved number so I opened up the message thread.

I didn't feel like texting back so I exited my messages and went on Twitter. After about 20 minutes of scrolling, I went to take a shower.
After moisturizing, I put on a robe and put in some of my clip ins. I straightened my hair and did some loose flat iron curls. After that, I put on a black, strapless dress and my checkered board slides.
I haven't been in Cody's room yet so I went to go look for it. So many of the rooms were empty. I finally stumbled upon Cody's room.
"I'm hungry" I said while entering his room.
"Ok" he said plainly while typing away on his phone.
"Anyways, can you take my pictures? Please"
"All you do is take pictures bruh, you're not even cute my guy" he said while getting up and leaving his room
"Let's take them outside!" I said while following him down the steps.
