"Hey Dustpaw! Wanna play truth or dare?"
"Um sure"
Dustpaw and I were on patrol and bored out of our minds. Snowpup was off hunting but nearby. Ever since the battle, I made sure she was always in howls range, Just to be safe.
"Ok truth or dare" I asked her.
"Truth"
"Have you ever liked someone? Like... like like someone?"
"Maybe" Dustpaw said shyly.
"Really? Who"
"That wasn't the question."
"Oh okay"
There was a awkward silence between us.
"Truth or dare" Dustpaw finally asked
"Truth"
"Have you ever liked someone? Like... like like someone?"
"I...."
There was an awkward silence between us.
"Yeah....um.... I do?"
"Really?" Dustpaw asked, excitedly. "Who" She asked.
"That wasn't the question." I said, small smirk playing on my muzzle.
She sighed, clearly exasperated my my response.
"Alright Dustpaw, Truth or dare?"
"Ummm...Truth I guess"
" Oh ok rrmm... What's your guilty pleasure?"
"Watching the pups trying to be wise and cool." She chuckled.
"Yeah 'quite a fine catch today sir' is super wise" I puffed out my chest, mocking the pups.
We both burst out laughing. A few minutes later, Snowpup came back with some large rabbits. It's not our job to catch for the pack right now because we are on patrol but we do anyway. All three of us ate a rabbit and layed down.
Man, it would be nice to sleep right now is so nice and cool and the breeze... No! I can't fall asleep on patrol AGAIN!
I got to my feet.
"Alright guys, we should head back to camp" I told Dustpaw and Snowpup.
"Ok lets go!" Snowpup leaped up and started bounding to camp, full of energy.
Dustpaw and I trotted after her content with full stomachs and extra food for the pack.
