I have one class with Dakota: Band.She plays Baritone(brass),and I play clarinet(woodwinds).We arive at school on our first day, I'm wearing a blue top, white shorts, and nikes while Dakota is wearing a darker blue top, blue shorts, and sandals.We both curled our hair.Our lockers are right next to each other luckily.We put our books in our locker and walk to class.
Dakota's POV:
We arrive at the band room and sit down in what we think to be our sections, I was proven to be right. I see a ton of cute guys including a blonde haired blue eyed guy. The bell snaps me back to reality. We get our band lockers and mine is by the blondie, yay! I met a ton of new people: Leandra, Rachel, and Stephanie. We immediatly become besties.
Rose's POV:
My band locker is by this really pretty girl that has brown hair and blue eyes wearing a cute yellow top, blue jeans, and converse,her name is Savannah. We become best friends and we plan to sit together at lunch along with three other beautiful brown haired girls:Emma, Mikayla, and Josie. The bell rings which means time for chior. I meet Emma and Mikayla in there again, so I sit by them in what will soon be called the alto side. I get moved to the soprano side after a singing test, which makes me nervous because I have never in my life been a soprano. We get our cubby numbers and then the bell rings. Im off to my locker to get a binder filled with paper and a mechanical pencil for Language arts. I walk in the room and feel someone staring at me.I look to see a cute brown haired blue eyed guy looking back and my stomach goes all crazy. The teacher introduces me and the whole class stands in the back of the class to be put in pairs and sat down. She sits me with Hayes, the cute boy who was looking at me, and my stomach goes crazy again.
"Hi, I'm Hayes." He said while extending a hand.
Hayes's POV:
A beautiful blue eyed blonde walked into the room and turns to look around.Our eyes lock.I really want to get to meet her.Luckily for me, the teacher pairs us together, I'm so nervous.Wait,I know her,well I've seen her before,she was the one who moved in on my street,yes!!!
What should I say?

"Hi, I'm Hayes." I say extending a hand out.
"Hi, I'm Rose, I'm new." She says with a giggle and shakes my hand.
I get butterflies in my stomach as I talk to her, she is jst so darn cute.I look in those beautiful blue eyes and just really want to get to know her.
"Okay," the teacher says and snaps me back to reality,"Today we will be playing the two truths and a lie game." She explains and passes out the papers."You will be working in groups, and the best two will present theirs in front of the class."
We all start writing.
Rose's POV:
Okay here I go. One truth: I have almost fallen out of a roller coaster really high above the ground. One lie: I was on a basketball team in South Carolina. One truth: My mom died when I was in 2nd grade.
"Ready?" Hayes asks the group.
"Ready." We say.
"Rose you go." Hayes suggests.
"Yea." Says Emma and another guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, Ryan I think his name was.
"Okay, I have almost fallen out of a roller coaster high up. I was on a basketball team in South Carolina. My mom died when i was in 2nd grade."
"The roller coaster!" Ryan said.
"The mom one!" Hayes said.
"Yea the mom one!" Emma agreed.
"Nope! You are all wrong!"I say.
They all apologize because I lost my mom.
"Let's just continue, Emma?"
We continue the game and the group says mine and Emma's are the best, so we go to the front of the room.
"Good luck." I hear Hayes say.
"Thanks." I respond with a smile. Hayes is so sweet.
The people in the front say theirs and nobody got mine or Emma's right.That's when the bell rings.I have every one of my classes after that with Hayes.He walks me to them. I wonder if he likes me.
Hayes's POV:
I walk Rose to all her next classes, I have them to.I really like her and want to get to know her, we sit together in all our classes which helps me a lot.
Flashback:
"Okay guys, a new family is moving in and I want to see who it is." Me and my friends hear a truck pull up.
"Positions!"I yell.
The truck stops and a beautiful girl steps out.(Rose)I knew then I had to meet her.
"Dad? Can I have the keys?"
Her voice is so pretty.
End of flashback
The bell rings notifying us that it is the end of our first day.I cheer because I can still hang out with Rose, she lives on my street
Rose's POV:
We all go home and eat dinner, I do my homework and get excited because tomorrow are sofball try outs and basketball try outs. Dakotas excited to. I watch tv, take a shower, and go to bed.
