Rose's POV:
"No! He can't do this! I'm not ready! It has only been six years since mom died." I shouted to Dakota with tears in my eyes.
"Rose, calm down. It's not the end of the world. We are just moving. to North Carolina, you know, the state directly above this?" She said trying to calm me down.
It's just not the same I thought.
As if reading my mind, Dakota got up, gave me a hug, and said," it will be okay. Just keep packing."
I took a deep breath and continued packing.
Dakota's POV:
I'm so ready fo a change! It was six years ago when we came home and got the news mom was in the hospital...again. She had been to the hospital 11 times before, but this time we felt it was different, this time, something was wrong. I was proved right later the next night. We found out mom would'nt be coming home with us.Rose was only eight.
"Dakota....Dakota!" Rose said and snapped me back to reality.
"Huh, what? Oh sorry, whatcha need?"
" Get back to packing"
"Oh, so you are excited now?"
"No, but let's get this over with, shall we?"
She grabbed one of the boxes from our joined room and carried it down stairs, I did the same.

Rob's POV:
"Hey girls', ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be." Rose said abnormally.
Rose is usually the bubbly and bouncy one while Dakota was the bubbly calm one.
"Oh come on Rosie, it'll be good for the family, plus we will get a bigger house and a bigger house equals your own bedroom." I saw her eyes light up like they would before the accident.
" Okay, fine. I'll try and be happier." Rose said a little bit more bubbly.
Rose's POV:
"Okay, fine. I'll try and be happier." And i meant it, I was looking forward to my own room. After all, I have been sharing a room with Dakota my whole life. I guess im STARTING to warm to the idea not fully there yet though.
" Well it's about time for bed, let's get everything we can out on the truck, go to bed, and finish when we wake up." My dad said.Me and my sisters reluctantly agreed we had to get up early anyway to et to the new house by lunch.Dakota and I went to our rooms and Andrew and Mikenna went to theirs. I went to my suitcase and pulled out the pjamas I packed.( a pink tank that had musical staff and a pair of woman boxer shorts) and pulled my long bright blonde hair into a messy ponytail. Dakota did the same.( a gray tank that said Live Love Dance and the matching bottoms) and brushed through her hair but left it down. Dakota and I are very similair, we both have blue eyes, blonde hair and dimples. However, we also have our differences, i have curly hair, she has straight,I have freckles, she does'nt, she has a circle shaped face, I have an oval shaped face. Also, my eyes are more gray, and her hair is slightly darker.
"Goodnight Rosalinda." Dakota said refering to the good witch on The Wizard of Oz.
"Goo-" I got interupted by our door opening. It was Andrew and Mikenna. Mikenna wore plain black tank and shorts and had her short dirty blonde hair down over her freckles, while Andrew was only in his underwear, which im used to.
Before we could say anything, they came in, "Can we stay the night in here?" they said in unison "You know, because it is the last night in the house." Andrew added quickly.
Andrew's POV:
"You know, because it is the last night in the house." I only said that to keep my reputation as tough and brave big brother. It goes me,17, Mikenna,16, Dakota,15, then Rose,14. The truth is, I want all of us to be together on the last night before we leave another house.
"Sure" Rose said happily. Then she threw a pillow at me and hit me in the face.
"Hey!"
"Hay is for horses!" Dakota chuckled.
" Let's just go to bed Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!" the girls say in unison.
At first we were just laying there talking. We usually just sit and talk after we say goodnight. Rose was the first one asleep, then Mikenna, then Dakota, and finally, me.
Mikenna's POV:
I woke up first, even before our dad! I woke up Dakota first. Then Andrew. We finished packing the truck quietly and waited for the others to wake up downstairs while playing Five card poker. The two finally came down and in less than five minutes we were ready to leave. Us kids took one last walk around the empty house. everyone especially Rose said their own long goodbyes and we were off.
