There was a tall man leading us to the boats that would take us to the castle. I was quietly pulled to the side and asked by Professor McGonagall "Hello Miss. Slytherin or should I say, Rose?" "Professor I would like it if it was Slytherin for the sorting," I told her politely. With a nod of her head, she walked away.

I walked towards Draco and head him insulting a redheaded boy, I couldn't help but let out a slight giggle from what he said. "You'll soon find out soon Potter that some wizarding families are better than others," he said looking in my direction with a smirk on his face then putting his hand out for the boy in front of him."I think I can tell the wrong sorts by my self no thanks." the other boy said smugly.

Right after McGonagall tapped Draco on his shoulder and he came beside me, and said, "We're ready for you now."

After Dumbledore said his speech the sorting had started, I stopped paying attention after they had called Draco. I couldn't help but laugh that the hat had yelled out 'Slytherin' before the hat even touched his head. a while after I heard "Harry Potter" it suddenly became quiet as all of the great halls became somewhat silent. I then made the conclusion that he was the boy who lived, personally I didn't care much for it, after a while, they called my name

"Arabella Rose Slytherin" everyone suddenly shut up and started to mumble I heard a girl ask 'Slytherin as in Salazar?' I slowly took a step further all eyes on me, I looked toward the teachers to see the headmaster and a tall black-haired professor looking at me attentively. As I made my way up and sat on the chair the hat was placed gently on my head."ahh you are a true Slytherin through and through, is there any house you want to get into dear?" The hat asked me from upon my head"Not really, please tell me where do I belong?" I said to the hat."SLYTHERIN" the hat yelled out. suddenly cheers broke out in the Slytherin table I looked back to see the same to professors clapped with a slight smile on their face. I quickly went to the table at sat down next to Draco.
"Hello love," he said to me

after walking towards the dungeons the Slytherin prefect said the password was pureblood and walked into the common area. upon walking in Professor Snape was there and called "Ms.Slytherin and Mr.Malfoy follow me please" Draco and I looked at each other weirdly but followed nun the less.

After a while, he leads us to dumbledors office and said "lemon drops."When we walked more inside I noticed a large box on his desk.

"Ahh Miss Slytherin Mister Malfoy, Professor Snape and I need to talk to you about a very important subject. Long ago professor Snape and I received a letter about the two of you, now first off the letter we revived was an enchanted letter from Salazar Slytherin himself. Inside contained very specific instructions. First off this box if for you Arabella inside contains a letter and things your grandfather had left for you." he said pushing it towards me.

I slowly stood up to the box and began to open it, I looked inside to see a black snake curled inside, a letter, and a leather-bound book. I decided to read the letter first.

I did not want you to be surrounded by death and destruction, so I cast a spell. With everything going on I did not notice Professor Snape pulling Draco aside and giving him a letter as well. After reading it over once more I finally look up and ask Dumbledore "How did you become of this?"
"Eleven years ago it appeared in my office with two letters one for me, and one for Professor Snape, and a tag that had your name on it. My letter had specific instructions to give this to you when you came to Hogwarts, and to look after you and Draco," my headmaster told me "I've also seen to it that you have your own personal room for all of your many creatures to roam around it like, for example, your waheela Ace. It should accommodate both of his forms."
"I don't know what to say, headmaster, thank you," I told him astounded of the news he gave me, and of everything else.
"I will leave you here for a bit while I go talk to young mister Malfoy over there, "Dumbledore tells me and walks to another area of his office.

After collecting myself I look back to the box and grab the 3ft long all black snake out of the box. "well here goes nothing" I mumble to myself. "hello Loki" I said to the snake.
"Hello child, Sssalazar told me of you. I am here to watch over you and help in your timesss of need, I know many sssecrets I was with Sssalazar for many yearsss before hisss deathhhh," he said as he slithered around my body to look at my face.
"Thank you Loki," I said with a small smile, he gave me a nod and slithered away into the box.

I looked behind me after hearing footsteps coming closer, I saw that headmaster, Snape, and Draco were all coming towards me. "Headmaster, do you know where Ace is? I haven't seen him since we were off the boats." I asked

"Ah about that he should be in here somewhat-" he was cut off by Ace barrelling past him and imminently sitting at my feet. "Before the sorting, he snuck his way into the great hall and came by the teachers, he gave professor Qurial a scare by growling at him" I let out a huff of air thinking that it was strange, Ace only growls if provoked or in the presence of someone bad.

"Well thank you, headmaster," I said with a smile." well off to your common room" he replied and looked towards Snape. Imminently after Snape looked at us and took off towards the exit, Draco and I followed after him.

After being told where my dorm was Snape had left me and Draco in the common room alone together. "I'm sorry Draco," I said finally breaking the silence "This my fault my grandfather cast this spell, I'm sorry that you're now forever tied to someone like me. I'll find a way to remove the spell." I said in a sad voice, I was sad to have lost a friend I think saying this affected the bond making the pain go shooting through my heart. my mind immediately went to what Salazar said 'don't fight the bond' I then got up to walk away towards my room with Ace and my box of things. I felt a tight grip on my arm pulling me back.
"No. You will not be breaking this bond Arabella, I do not want you to. Salazar cast this spell for a reason, this isn't just to help you but me too. I will not let anything happen to you now more than every okay?" He told me looking deep into my eyes.
"Okay" I replied with I quite voice. He then took the box out of my hand and set it besides us on a table and pulled me into a hug.
After a while, we pulled slightly apart and said, "We should head to bed now Love. come on I'll walk you considering yours is away from the girls' dorms." he then grabbed the box and together we walked towards my room. I opened my door to let Ace into the room and take the box from Draco and set it in the room.
"Thank you, Draco good night."
"Good night love" he replied and walked away.
