Prologue

I never knew a HOODIE could cause my whole world to flip around. Everyone now knows me as Kenzie. Instead of "the girl the star quarterback gave his hoodie too". Truthfully i miss it all all of are laughs. The way he laughed when i did something. When i used to fall he'd make sure i was okay then burst out laughing. I miss the way he would groan and complain he hated it when i did his face masks then unknowingly admitted that he actually liked it. I miss the hoodie he used to make me where or he would be another one, the one hoodie i kept is hidden in a box of memories of us, pictures, cameras with videos of us attempting to make YouTube videos, the one hoodie that changed my whole life and i dont know whether its for the best or not. I just know i miss the way it used to be. I miss us. Whatever we had was very special to me. The way you made me laugh no matter what im feeling. Just to think about it all started from one simple hoodie that any girl would of died to recive.

Kenzie was walking out of 3rd period when i got a text.

Maddie👅💦💀: Im sorry Kenz i didnt wanna tell you this was but i could not see you cry. Im leaving for college. Im at the airport right now. I hope you can understand! I love you so much kenziboo! Love Maddie👅💦💀I renamed myseld from 🤞Maddie🤦‍♀️.

Kenz🍑: oh okay😶 okay love you too maddie👅💦💀

Inside kenzie was crumbling. She started to shed tears. She bumped into someone. The person caught kenzie by the waist. They looked at each other for a few seconds before kenzie got out of his grasp. "Um im sorry" kenzie quietly said as if johnny was not listening he never would have heard her. She quickly walked almost ran off. Johnny noticed she was crying, he may be popular but he did have a heart. He quickly ran after the brunette with puffy eyes and tears spilling out of her eyes. When the dirty blond had found the girl she was on the bleachers crying holding her arms. He wasn't quite sure if it was becuase she was crying or becuase it was cold outside. He walked up to her and picked her up by the waist and set her in his lap hugging her. He was not sure why he did that action though. Mackenzie seemed out as she wrapped her arms around his neck an buried her face in his chest.

After about 5 minutes the brown-eyed girl looked up to meet his green orbes slowly. He softly asked "what happened?" She shook her head and quietly laughed and said "its stupid you probably wont get it." He raised an eyebrow and said "try me." She sighed and said in her normal voice "My sister left for college and didnt tell me i didnt get to say goodbye. Were just super close shes like my bestfriend besides annie lebalnc my bestfriend." He nodded and slowly said "I was a mess when my older sister Maddie left for college too because she is the closest I'm to besides Lauren.  Also im great friends with annie she's in my friend group you should hang out with us i feel like im 7th wheeling." He laughs at the end. She nodded saying okay before shivering. Johnny stood up quick and took of his hoodie wkth the number 21 on the back of it. He did it because even though he didn't know her well he knew her somehow. Lets just say Johnny thought he was crazy.

He handed it to the now wide eyed girl. She quickly spoke in shock "Every girl wants this freaking hoodie its like you prized possession. You've never even let your sister wear it. So why let me wear it?" She questioned. He shrugged and spoke " i truthfully dont know i just feel like your a good person to let where it. So put the damn thing on and walk with me to the cafeteria feeling like an honoured soul." She laughed and pulled the hoodie over her shirt and they hopped off the bleachers. He bent down as soon as his feet hit the ground for the girl to jump on his back. She giggled and took a few steps away before running and jumping on his back seeing he was taller than her by like 3-4 inches. They laughed and he began walking. On there way back to the school they talked about numerous things.

When they got there they knew alot about one another. When they walked through the school doors all eyes where on them. At first they didn't know quite why but then realized it's because Kenzie in wearing Johnny's hoodie.......
