Violets(POV)
I woke up to the sound of my alarm and I look at the clock to see it was 6:30. I close my eyes for a few more seconds, stretch, and make my way to the kitchen for some desperately needed coffee. My shift started in an hour and I decided I would go bare faced until tonight. HOLY SHIT TONIGHT. TONIGHT IM GOING ON A DATE WITH PAUL. That's what wakes me up, my excitement and nervousness for my date. I take a sip of my coffee and head back to my room to get dressed.
I put on plain white v neck and blue jeans with some old checkered vans. I make sure to grab my apron and take the last sip of my coffee then I'm out the door. ( haha get it) By now the sun was coming up and I decided to put my earbuds in and take a listen to Paul's band. That's not stalkerish right? Who am I kidding, it really is stalker like, oh well! I type LANY into my phone and click on the first song, ILYSB. I listen intently and before I know it I'm at work. The song was amazing and his voice was absolutely breath taking, kinda like his looks haha. I want to listen to more but I have work.
My shift goes by painfully slow. I'll I want is to get out and go get ready for my date. I'm usually not this excited but I have such a good feeling about this guy, I can't seem to shake my excitement. My clock out time finally comes and I basically sprint home just so I have enough time to get ready and look very very good. I unlock my front door and make my way to my room. I begin to undress and my phone buzzes.
Paul :): Hey beautiful :), can't wait to see you tonight, heres the address to the coffee shop.

BEAUTIFUL? bEaUtiFuL? SAY THAT SHIT AGAIN AND IM GONNA ACT UP. Holy shit. I am way too excited. Vi, hey it's okay take a chill pill, it's all good, you're just a normal girl, going out with a normal guy, WHO IS HOT! Wait, wait, you're getting off track, get your head in the game! You need to chill out or he's gonna get scared away. I take a deep breath and reply.

See, it's easy to be calm and collected. I set my phone down and head to my shower. I decided to wash my hair and SHAVE EVERYTHING, just as a precaution even though I know for a fact we are not having sex tonight. I sense he's not like that, which is good. I get out and check my phone and it says 5:00. Alright I basically have 45 minutes because the coffee shop is 15 minutes away. I need to do simple makeup and a slutty but classy outfit.
I decided to put on concealer, some blush, and just mascara. Cute but simple. For my outfit I wear black ripped skinny jeans, a pink brandy shirt, with a cropped brandy sweatshirt, and slip on vans. For my hair I decided to straighten it, it always looked better that way, at least to me. I look at my phone and it's 5:40. I get a lyft and go down stairs. I get into the car and give my driver the address. I put in my headphones and listen to another one of Paul's songs, super far. I really really liked it. I look out the window of the small car and continued listening to music and before I knew it I had arrived. I was 5 minutes early but I thanked my driver, and tipped him. I get out of the car and I suddenly feel my knees shaking, I am beyond nervous. I walk in to the coffee shop and it makes me smile by how cute it is. I look around and then I see him, he looked great.
Paul's ( POV)
Who knew I'd be going on a date with a waitress from a diner outside of LA. It was so odd of me to leave a not like that on the bill, but I couldn't help it she was gorgeous and just by looking at her I got a great feeling from looking at her. She had medium length strawberry blonde hair, cute freckles, and piercing green eyes. I could tell she was nervous around me when she first saw me, I thought it was cute and quite humorous. I'm so glad I gave her my number because now I have a date with her. This is gonna be good, I just know it, I trust my gut on this one. I decided to ask her to coffee because my favorite coffee shop was quiet and comfortable enough for us to get to know each other.
I drove to Jax coffee and eatery at 5:45 and got there 10 minutes early just to be safe. I wore black jeans and an oversized green sweatshirt with checkered vans. I parked my car along the sidewalk a little bit down from the coffee shop, and made my way there. I didn't Violet there yet, so I went ahead and took a seat, I wasn't going to order without her, that would've been rude. I take out my phone to help distract me from how nervous I was. I didn't want to mess this up, I knew I had a shot, it was only a matter of time before I got there. I got a text from Jake and Les both of them wishing me luck on my date tonight, weirdos haha. I text them back saying thanks and that I'd let them know how it went later on. Then, I heard the door open, and the bell ring. I look up and I see her, she looked stunning.
