I woke up to the sound of a engine accelerating. I noticed that I was laying on my side, my hands tied behind my back and duck tape over my mouth. Once my brain processed where I was and what was happening I began to panic. I looked around and realized we were racing down the road. I couldn't  see out the window where we were, but I knew we were going fast. I looked and saw two men in the front seat, one was driving and cussing under his breath and the other was in the passenger seat with a gun in his hand. My blood ran cold and I panicked trying to figure out a way to get out of this car.

I heard a sound that made me want to cry with joy, a sound of sirens blared behind us. Instantly I sit up not caring if the men notice me awake. I look out the back of the car and see flashing lights.

The trees raced by us as we were going at least 120mph. The cops were close but not close enough. I began to try to scream into my tape and move my wrist that were tied together, trying to loosen them.

But it was useless they couldn't hear me and the tape was tied to tight around my wrists. The engine roared as we were pushing our way to 125mph.

"Shit there gaining on us!" The driver of the car yelled in a thick accented voice, as the car raced down the empty black road that was surrounded by trees.

"We're going to have to cut down the back road before they can get us, or they will trap us once we get over the bridge at the end of the road!" The man in the passenger seat yelled back.

I panic and try to scoot backwards to the door hoping to unlock it and jump out. I know it would kill me going this fast, but I rather be dead then be held hostage.

With no luck of getting the door unlocked. I turned around to look out the wind shield to see where we were heading to only to be met with a pair of green eyes staring at me in the rearview mirror.

"If I was you I would lay my ass back down, before I get myself shot!" He growled.

I instantly obeyed and got back on my side. I looked in the floor to see a tooth pick. I knew it was dumb but if I could grab it, maybe I could poke holes into my tape and try to tear it and use all of my strength to pull it apart.

As I began to turn around and wiggle my way to grab it. I heard a gun shot that caused my heart to stop for a split second. The man in  passenger seat had his window down and was shooting out the window at the cops behind us.

I quickly tried to grab the tooth pick struggling with my hands behind my back. I tried to feel where it was in the floor. Once I grabbed it I used my ab muscles and straightened myself back on the seat.

Still laying on my side I flipped over so I was facing the men again and I quickly took the tooth pick and slid it in between the tape and my wrists. I used my fingers to push it and stab at the tape, but it kept on slipping and stabbing my wrist, drawing blood. It hurt but I didn't care I need to get free. I stabbed the tape to there was a decent hole in the tape.

My wrist by now was dripping with blood, but I didn't care. I pulled and wiggled my wrist over and over. As we sped down the road and gun shots echoed through the cold night air.

I finally could feel the tape on my wrist getting loose. The blood on my wrists aloud me to get half of my right hand out of the tape. Using all my strength I pulled it out. I pulled the tape off my left hand and threw it in the floor. I wiped my wrists on my T-shirt and pulled the tape off my mouth.

I looked back up to see both men had their windows down and was shooting at the cop cars behind us.

Then I heard dings, realizing the police were shooting back. Which was a good and bad thing. Good because maybe they could stop these men. But bad because they could accidentally shoot me or wreck us.

Another ding and the cars back left tire was blown out. The car loses control and next thing I know we are skidding off the road and we hit a tree. My body flys forward and hits in between the seats. I lay there in pain in the floor and  feel blood running down my forehead, from hitting the center console.

I crawl my way on to the back seats feeling a sharp pain in my head and feeling dizzy. I see both of the car doors are open and there's smoke coming from the front of the car, filling it.

I hear gunshots and realize the men are out of the car and are shooting at the police. I place my hand on the window trying to get help and yell but I knew that the police couldn't hear me over the gun shots.

I find the strength to pull myself up, as I felt dizzy and feel the thick red liquid run down over my right brow, I wipe it away wincing at the pain. I mange to unlock and open my door, I fall to the ground and look behind the car to see police cars parked with their doors open shooting this way. Behind the car stands the two men shooting aggressively.

I hurry and try to crawl to the woods near by.  I figured if I could hide in the woods then I could run my way down to I get to the cop cars then I won't get caught in the gun fight and get shot.

I quickly get up seeing the two men clearly distracted shooting their guns. I run as fast as I can into the woods, as I get into the clear I turn to look and see the flashing lights. I make my way into the woods heading up the road by hiding in the woods so I could cross quickly and get to the police cars.

As I run and get to the cop cars, and come out of the woods I panic and see three cops cars. All with the doors open but what scared me was the dead bodies that laid on the ground.

My heart raced and I realized the two men have killed all the cops! There was no one left alive.

"She's gone!" One of the men yell.

My heart stops and I panic. I start to run as fast as I could through the woods, feeling the cold wind whip my hair in my face. My head was throbbing and I felt as though I could throw up at any moment.

I knew I had to keep going or these men where going to kill me. I had no clue where I was going but I was running as fast as my legs could take me.
