Chapter 1.

Arya Jones

*beep beep beep*

The sound of my alarm blares through my room as I hurry to turn over, I smash it to shut it up.

Like any other day I force myself out of my bed and across the hall to the bathroom. I quickly use the restroom wash my hands and wash my face and brushed my teeth. I grab my hairbrush off the counter and brush through my hair quickly pulling it up in a pony tail. I turn the light off and make my way back to my room.

I grab a pair of black leggings then I grab my plain white hoodie pulling over my head throwing a blue jean jacket over it and lastly putting on my mustard yellow vans.

Looking at myself in the mirror before I grab my bag to leave. I could see the bags under my eyes so I decided to put on a little concealer and mascara.

Once I finish I grab my phone and headphones and bag and left out of my room heading downstairs. I looked at my phone to see I was already late and I don't have time to eat breakfast.

As I get to the bottom of the stairs I see a note on the kitchen counter saying my dad will be home late. I huff and head to the front door opening it seeing my boyfriend Jake parked in my driveway. I smile at him, turning back to lock the door. I walked to his car as quick as I could as the cold air felt like a slap in the face. I open the door and jump in throwing my backpack in the backseat.

"Hey babe" Jake says leaning over kissing me on the lips.

"Hey" I smile pulling back from our kiss

"So what do you say, what if we skip class today since it's a Friday and we can have a little fun." He winks at me.

"Uh I don't know Jake If that's a good idea, if my dad finds out he will kill me."

"He won't find out, my dad is the principal and although he doesn't approve of me skipping I will have him just cover for us." He says with a smirk on his face.

"Plus it's my birthday tomorrow and since you have to work all day tomorrow, today we can spend time together and have some fun." He says squeezing my thigh.

"And maybe we can take the next step with our relationship, if your comfortable with that." He mumbles looking down at my thigh as he draws circles in it.

"I-I don't know Jake I really need to go to school I have already missed so much school with my moms funeral and all last month." I look at his now slightly angered face.

He moves his hand off my thigh and looks at me with a angry expression planted across his face.

"So you would rather spend all day a a stupid fucking school then with your boyfriend having fun." He says loudly causing chills to run up my spine.

"Jake I-I'm sorry I just have missed so much of school and if I don't go today then it will effect me graduating this year. You have to be understanding of that. I swear I will make it up to you after tomorrow after I get off work." I said moving my hand to put it on his thigh.

He huff looking out his window then to me.

"Fine" He says putting the car in reverse backing up.

We finally get to school and he drops me off by the side door of the school so I can sneak in before the tardy bell rings.

"Well I guess I will pick you up to take you to work this evening." He says looking straight ahead out of the windshield with his hand on the steering wheel, still clearly mad.

"Oh that's alright, Kate's going to take me since we work the same shift." I say getting out of the car grabbing my bag.

"Of course she is" he mumbles under his breath.
