two boys were taking a moonlit stroll down a pathway in central park, the light snow dusting each of their shoulders, their cheeks and noses coated with a light cherry red from the frost.
jack avery, being one of the boys. he was short, but skinny. he was wearing a blue and fluffy winter coat with a grey scarf he had made for himself and hat. his boyfriend, daniel, thought he looked absolutely adorable. daniel himself being dressed in simply a black trench coat, his wide-brimmed fedora and a scarf that jack had knitted for him.
"this is so nice." jack whispered, his left arm linked with daniels as he cuddled into his chest while walking.
"it really is. there's nowhere i'd rather be." daniel smiled.
jack leaned up and connected their lips, bringing them both warmth on the cold evening.
they pulled apart and daniel smiled.
"i love you."
jack stopped in his tracks and gaped at daniels words.
"y-you what?"
"n-no i- i mean y-yeah but, but-" daniel sighed.
"i love you, jack."
jack smiled softly as warm tears fell from his eyes, his quiet breath creating smoke in the air. he connected their lips again.
"i love you too."
daniel smiled with joy and looked down at his adorable boyfriend.
then, he felt something cold stab at his chest, then a burning and blinding pain sink into him. he pulled away from jacks grasp and saw a kitchen knife plunged into his side.
"oh, by the way honey, theres someone else." jack smiled evilly before skipping away from daniels collapsed and dying body.
