You look around the bathroom, paranoid, causing you to pull your knees to your chest in an attempt to cover yourself up. Your music starts to turn to static, and after about thirty seconds of the white noise, it goes to the old children's song, "Pop Goes the Weasel", like how it did earlier in the day. You started to shake slightly, despite the warm water, unsure what was going on, who was messing with you.

"H-Hello?" You call out, terrified. You were hoping no one would answer, that this was all just in your head.

You stood up, getting out of the tub and quickly wrapping yourself up in your towel. Looking around, you began walking towards the door, grabbing the door knob. The moment you opened the door, you screamed.

Standing in front of you, a freakishly tall, monotone clown. His nose was pointed and striped, his arms so long they nearly dragged his knuckles on the floor like a gorilla. He wore a large grin, revealing his sharply pointed teeth. You took a step back, and slipped on the water you dripped all over, falling onto your backside with a loud thud. You couldn't take your eyes off of him, pure terror filling your being.

He let out a low chuckle, chilling your bones when it reached your ears. Your skin crawled as he just stared at you, acting like he was invited and you two were growing comfortable with each other.

"Hey there, kiddo~" His voice was dark and raspy, as if he was losing it. Your heart was racing, unsure of what to do. How would you act to having someone invade your home?!

Your voice wouldn't come, having nothing to say. Your mouth just hung open, not even being able to scream again.

After a few minutes, he frowned, "You know, it's rude to ignore people when they talk to you."

How could he act like you two were friends?! You somehow finally recover your voice and spoke up,

"W-Who the hell are you?! Why are y-you here?!"

His smile returned when you finally spoke, "Well, since you asked, I am the one and only, Laughing Jack!"

"As for your second question," He added, before you could say anything, "It's nothing to worry about, for now. But you will be seeing me a lot more, now that we've finally talked,"

Suddenly, you remembered back to driving home, seeing a clown in the rearview mirror, "Wait a minute... You're the one who appeared in my car, aren't you!"

His face grew in a bit of confusion, "Ah, yes, but where did this come from?"

Your terror hadn't let it click earlier, but now you were trying to think clearly, so you could get away from him and it suddenly came to mind.

**A/N** I may stop adding chapter titles. It's hard to think of them XP Sorry this one is short as well, I wanted to hurry and get one in since it's been about a month since the last update
