I was making my way upstairs, ready to have a nap in my nice warm, comfortable, king size bed. When I was knocked onto my but. Hard.

"Sissy!!" giggled Chelsea, my 4 year old baby sister.

Well I guess shes not really a baby. More like an insane bundle of energy that does not stop. Even when shes asleep! She kicks hard!

"Chelsea" growled her mother, my step-mother.

My mother died 9 years ago. Luckily for my father, the moon goddess gave him a second chance mate. The gorgeous Sophia. I never resented my father. I loved having a mother figure in my life, sure she wasn't my actual mother but I still love Sophia as one.

"You know mummy's pregnant, please slow down baby. Good Morning Gabriella darling, how are you doing?"

"Good. Thanks. Mum" I slowly replied. Her jaw dropped just as Jonathon's did when we told him I was mute. She quickly composed herself before squealing like a little girl, enveloping me in a hug.

"She talks! She TALKS!!" she sang swinging me around. I beckoned my little sister to me.

"Hello. Chelsea"

She laughed and jumped into my arms. I was so happy that even when my twin brother picked me up and kissed me on the cheek, I didn't realise he was home. After we settled down I finally realised. My brother was home! I haven't seen him since he moved from the pack 4 years ago to rule as Alpha in his mates pack. His mate was the only daughter to the Alpha of the Uisce Beatha  pack. In Ireland. The luck us Irish descendents have.

"Daniel!!" I whisper yelled (no screaming yet.).

I ran into his arms and buried my face in his neck and breathed him in. I missed my twin so much. There is so much to tell him. But first I grabbed his hand and we both raced into the kitchen. Even with werewolf mindlink, we can communicate without using our voices. It really came in handy growing up. I couldn't talk, but Daniel could. 5 years, he was my partner in crime. He was the next Alpha. We were one. Now he is Alpha. Though Alpha of another pack. And now I'm going to be Alpha.

We started cooking. Daniel got the oven started while I put the iPod in the dock. We danced as we cooked the past for our famous macaroni and cheese dish. Swaying my hips to the beat, we did the dishes as we waited for our snack to cook. Just like old times. A stray tear slid down my face. Instantly my brother wrapped his arms around me, comforting me.

"I know sis. I miss mum too. I miss us. But believe me, your mate will help ease your pain. Love you like no one else can. He's closer than you think."
