The lightsaber blade, still pointed at Kozul’s face, was starting to burn the skin on his nose, he had to act quickly. Secretly, he put his right hand behind his back and force pulled his lightsaber into it. Before the Jedi could slice his nose off, he ignited his crimson lightsaber and brought it up to block the Jedi’s blow. The Jedi took a few steps back and prepared for battle. She brought up her lightsaber over her head horizontally and gestured for him to come at her. Taking the invitation, he lunged forward, striking at her hip. She blocked the attack and took her turn to strike by aiming for his neck. Bringing his lightsaber straight up, he disarmed the attempt, but just barely.
Instead of striking with her lightsaber again, the Jedi stepped a few feet back and waited for him to come back at her. He only took one step forward, when he was pushed back by the Jedi with the force onto the ship’s control panel. He moaned, but despite the pain, he stood up and raised his lightsaber in a defensive position. The two force-users continued to battle, not knowing that the ship’s engine had been started accidently. Slowly, the XS stock freighter lifted off the ground and into the cloudy sky over the marshes.
It took a few seconds for the two to realize that the ship had taken off, but it still did not distract them from their fighting. In an attempt to land the ship, Kozul force pushed the Jedi out of the cockpit and into the cargo bay, shutting the door once she was in the other room. She immediately started to slice at the door with her lightsaber, while he turned back towards the control panel.
Before the ship could be set down all the way, the Jedi got through the door and hurled two chunks of the durasteel door at him. He was ready this time though and deflected one chunk with his lightsaber then pushed the other one aside with the force. That piece then collided with the control panel, causing it to release small bits of steam and flash all kinds of colors.
The Jedi then made another attempt to disarm him with the force by a powerful push targeted at his mid-section. The push was intended to knock the wind out of him, giving her enough time to come up with her lightsaber and make one final blow, but he was adapting to her style. In a blur of motion, he moved out of the way and jumped up onto her. His hand grabbed her throat and she dropped her lightsaber. He began to grab harder, starting to crush her throat, but then he heard something unexpected
“Hyperdrive engaged,” the ship’s computer said.
All of the sudden, he could feel the ship automatically tilt itself towards the sky, and then blasted off into hyperspace. He tried to hold onto his grip of the Jedi, but the fast motions of the ship flying through hyperspace were to powerful. The Jedi could feel his grip releasing a bit and took the opportunity. She grabbed one of his hands with her right, throwing him off of her, and then she pushed him back with the force one last time with everything she had.
The blast was so powerful, that he was lifted off the ground a couple feet then collided with the durasteel wall. He rubbed his head and could feel something on it, blood. It was then that he realized that he was going unconscious. He tried to fight to stay awake, but with no luck, and the last thing he saw before drifting off was the Jedi standing in front of him with her lightsaber lit.
