It's kinda funny, now that I actually think about our situation.

We met as children.

We loved as teenagers.

We fought as adults.

I really don't know what went wrong, was it something I said? Something I did?

I miss your smile, the one where your lips pull up, exposing your protruding front teeth. Oh, how I loved those teeth of yours.

I miss your laugh, where you throw your head back and cackle like a mad woman. It always made me laugh along.

You absolutely loved those tiny, little babies at work. You'd squeal and grin whenever they hugged or kissed you.

It took me a while, but I started noticing something.

None of this happened when I was there.

It was always with your friends, at work or those god damn babies.

A broken heart followed you every single day for three years, until I told I had had enough.

Five years of a 'happy' relationship, then suffering for the rest.

Now that we're apart, you're happy again.

Now that we're apart, your eyes are shining again.

They smile with you.
