Once upon a time there was a girl who wore a red hood, so they called her Red Riding Hood. She went on a journey through the woods to visit her sick grandmother. She held a basket in her hand. In the basket was all sorts of baked goods. Everything was going great until a wolf smelled the baked goods. The wolf walked up to her and said, "give me the food". Red replied "No this is for my sick grandmother". The wolf was angry but hid it well. He said with slyness "Of course forgive me, where does your grandmother live", to which Red replied "its just into the woods and over the river to grandmas house I go" The wolf bowed and departed. Red continued on her way. A few hours later Red was at her grandmothers house. When she got inside she called "grandmother". She heard a reply "over here my dear, in the bed". She went over to the bed and yelled in shock. She said "My what a big snout u have grandmother" to which the wolf who was pretending to be her grandma said "The better to smell the food my dear". Next Red says, "my what big ears u have granny", the wolf replies with "the better to hear u my dear". Finally Red goes "my what big teeth u have granny", to which the wolf goes "the better to eat u with" and lunges at her. Red screames in fear. Her screams alerted a huntsman who ran to see what was going on. He saw the wolf and pulled out his shotgun and shot the wolf. Red thanked him and began to call out for her granny. Granny replied "over here, in the closet". Red freed her. A few years later Red married the huntsman and had children and she, her granny, and the huntsman lived happily ever after.
