Another Time With You

II - Reunion

The sun is rising and it's a little bit cold. If possible, he doesn't even want to get up. He wanted more time with his beloved. Waiting for the sky to be completely bright, Shao Fei can only hope whatever is going to happen in the nearest future will be fine. As time ticking down, the sky went bright and he changed back to his human form. He then packed his things. He shook his head and psyched himself to not overthink everything or nothing will happen.

Huang Chun woke up first, then followed by Tang Yi.

"I'll drive the car since you said you were on watch last night," Tang Yi suddenly offered.

That made Huang Chun a little dumbfounded. The cold Tang Yi...doing something like that to someone he just knew...It shook him. Not that he underestimated him,but it just felt like that. But,he said nothing of it. Though, Tang Yi was surprised by himself too. However, Shao Fei declined the offer and said that he will be fine.

Shao Fei guided them to where the car is. While on the way, both Huang Chun and Tang Yi felt rejuvenated. Like, really refreshed and not worn out. Shao Fei sensed it and keep on walking. It's because the food was created by him, so they are getting his power as an energy that healed their body.

"We're almost there," said Shao Fei. Huang Chun and Tang Yi were really hoping that the car would be far away from the bad guys. When they reached down the mountain and to the car, they were so relieved by the fact there was none of the bad guys around. Shao Fei unlocked his car and put his backpack in the car boot. Tang Yi sat beside the driver seat while Huang Chun at the back seat and Shao Fei felt happy for that.

He asked them their address and offered to send them back to their house. Tang Yi declined by saying that he will be fine with just being dropped at the city and even Huang Chun agreed, saying that Shao Fei already did a lot for them.

When they arrived, both of them thanked him and then went separated way. Shao Fei drove until somewhere quiet and not much of people wondering around,then he reverted back to his original form. The car and the backpack also disappeared into the air.

While both Huang Chun and Tang Yi was still asleep, Shao Fei has checked what happened to Tang Yi. He was sorry for Tang Yi to go through all that. What a bitter childhood he had and quite sad for losing someone that he really loved.

It will be hard for him to break through that closed heart,but he need to. He also hope that whatever left ever since their last time together will help him.

Shao Fei already used a lot of his energy to materialized a car and to move it, so he need to rest. He went to the nearest tree and rest there.
He remembered the time when he would take some time and sat down on somewhere he could see outside the mountain.

When he first time saw a car, he just watched how it could move. One of his friends would sometimes went to visit him whenever they got and tell him all about the modernization. That was how he can materialized all those things even though he was still trapped in a mountain, unable to leave until his lover step on the mountain.

Though, everything still feel bizarre to him and was really glad that he doesn't came across as a weirdo when they reached the city. He was amazed when he was shown how a city was,different from the old days. But, when he saw them with his own eyes...he was fully intimidated and anxious but he just kept his composure.

Shao Fei then giggled to himself. He suddenly just prefer to keep himself in the mountain, scared of the modernization. Even when he was in the car, he had to check Tang Yi's memories actually of how to drive. He smiled, and shook his head. So much for something them two. He will need Tang Yi to make up for everything he had done.

Closing his eyes, he quickly fall asleep. He had used too much energy that his power depleted quicker than he expected.

"Look at what I got!" the boy came running to him.

The god was smiling ear to ear when he saw him and patted the flat rock beside him. The boy sat down, then handed to him a bamboo flute.

"My father made this for me!"

It's not a well made one, but the god can feel the love put into making it.

"Then,can you play it?"

"...no..."

"Want me to teach you?"

"Yes,please!"

When the god took it,and played the bamboo flute,each sound coming out amazed the boy. It also made the boy happy. The god was also happy as he had made someone's day. They met by chance when they boy went to play by the river they are now. He was shocked as how the boy can see him,but said nothing.

Opening his eyes, he saw a different surrounding. He's now...in a room...He take a look around,and felt something familiar within this house. The door suddenly opened up,showing a man whom Shao Fei really knew. The man then pounced on him and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you so much!"

Shao Fei laughed and patted his back.

"Zhao Zi,you're crushing me."

Zhao Zi unleashed his hug, "so,you finally met him..."

He then sat near him on the bed.

"Yes. I also saw you in his memories. Along with Liang Dian,but why was he was called...what was it...Ja...Jack?"

"To fit in the modern world,of course."

"Ahhh... By the way,were you the one who bought me here?"

"No...it's Liang Dian."

"Oh..."

Then,a man came in. It's Liang Dian, bringing along a tray with a bowl of porridge and a glass of water.

"Here,eat something."

"Thank you..." he accepted it. It was not often he was able to eat something like this.

When he was in the mountain,he just survived with what he found or with what they sent to him. He even used his power to cover up the hunger he had. Both Zhao Zi and Liang Dian can't always visit him due to a restriction from the other gods. They can visit him but only sometimes and any information about Shao Fei's beloved,they cannot say anything. If they did,they will also be banned and throw away from the paradise. Shao Fei was already really thankful it.

"By the way...how can you two be here as human?"

"Zhao Zi went all out by fighting the other gods," Liang Dian laughed as he remembering what happened at that time.

Shao Fei was dumbfounded and laughed at the same time. Zhao Zi by any mean are not one of the deity that would use rough manner to get something . He's kind-hearted and cheerful.

"Anyone have their own limit," Zhao Zi said. "If I did not fought with them,then Ah Fei would suffer alone in this world..."

Liang Dian patted his back, "okay,okay."

Shao Fei's tiredness were cured right away seeing how his friends interacted.

While Shao Fei were eating, Liang Dan told him the story about Zhao Zi fighting with the courts. Shao Fei listened intently as he eat the porridge,amazed how Zhao Zi able to fight with them along with Liang Dian's help.

"Thank you. I really am thankful with you two for wanting to accompanying me here. Really...I am thankful," he said with full of gratitude.

"That's because you don't deserved what you got now," Liang Dian stated.

"True!" Zhao Zi agreed.

Really now, how can he survived without their help, he thought. There were numerous time he wanted to give up because waiting is torturing. But, no matter what he cannot. It's hard. There also times when he thought he could forget his beloved but he still continue suffering.

He definitely going to kill Tang Yi when he succeed in making him fall in love back. He definitely will.
