Into tiny little claustrophobic spaces
By society
In the never-ending venture to be perfect.
If you are big, you are not perfect,
If you are small, you are not perfect,
And if you are the perfect size...
Well, there has to be something else wrong with you.
If you do this, you are not perfect.
If you do that, you are not perfect.
If you do nothing, then you are far from perfect.
No matter what you do or not do,
You will never be perfect.
There will always be someone who thinks differently.
Everyone holds different ideals.
Everyone has different definitions of the word "perfect".
There is no definite
Set-in-stone
Permanent
One-and-only
Perfect.
So why do we all keep smooshing ourselves
Into invisible
Tiny little claustrophobic spaces?
