I looked at the tv in complete shocked, Not wanting to believe what I was seeing was true. On the screen it said...
"We are sad to announce the death of Amy and Christian Smith. They were in an accident on the way home. Police reports say that they have not found the other vehicle yet, but are still looking."
I was in complete shock. I starred at the tv for almost an hour before I started breaking down. I sobbed for what seemed like forever. I stopped when I heard a knock at the door. I got up to open it. It was two police officers there to take me to my aunts. When I saw her I broke down once again in her arms. She held me in her arms for what seemed like forever. I soon fell asleep. I woke up in a comfortable bed. I looked around to notice I was in my old bedroom at my aunt's house. That's when I remembered what happened last night. I had to pull myself together because I knew I had school.
I dragged myself out of the bed and into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror. I looked as if I was empty. My eyes had dark bags and bloodshot red eyes from crying. I took a shower and did all my other hygiene. I got dressed and walked downstairs.
"Hey, sweetie," my aunt said.
"Hey," I said dryly.
" I know it's going to be hard, but you will get through it," she said.
"Yeah, okay," I said emotionless.
"Bye, sweetie stay strong today," she said.
I waved and then walked out the door. I walked to school but before I walked in I took a deep breath. Preparing for what could happen. I walked to my locker with my head bowed. Everything was going smoothly until I saw Asia and Bryant walking over to me. I was about to turn around until she called my "name".
" Hey, freak". I turned and to see her and Bryant laughing. "yes," I said.
"I heard your parents died."
I started to tear up by her word.
"Well, good for them they want have to deal with a disappointment like you anymore."
I started to cry hard and run out of the school. I turned back to see Asia and Bryant laughing and taking pictures. I swore on that day I would be done taking bullshit from anyone.
