Donny and I have been together as a loveteam for almost 1 year. It was a pleasant surprise to us that he became my partner, onscreen. Because who would have thought that he was once my escort in debut and then boom, there were a lot who rooted for us. It was impossible in the beginning but things happened.
The shippers were persistent for us. They knew that he will star in a barkada movie, and they requested me to be part of it. Luckily, Direk Joey was really contacting my manager to get me for the love interest of Donny in that movie and viola, I became part of it.
That time I was shooting for our upcoming teleserye Playhouse with Kuya Zanjoe and Ate Angelica. And Ate Vaughn told me that Donny actually auditioned for the role of Zeke, my love interest in the serye. And maybe because of the success of the movie Walwal, and ofcourse his ability to portray the role, he got in.
We are doing so well as a loveteam, we got Magazine shoots, interviews together, TV guestings, we had 2 movies in a year; Walwal and Fantastica (with Mommy Vice), we had teleserye which is Playhouse. Our fans are so dedicated for us, having so many blockscreening for us, making us trend always in Twitter, engaging with the things that we are included. We were also lined up after the great loveteams of our network.
2018 was big for us.
We both thought that we are already making it to the top. We are giving our best in everything that we do.
It was almost perfect and magical.
