The teacher grinned upon seeing the h/c haired girl. "Come in! You must be the new student." The girl only nodded before entering the room. "You go on ahead, Mr. Kim." The teacher motioned her hand to his seat as Seungmin nodded, rushing to his place.

"Please introduce yourself."

"Kim Y/N." She bluntly stated as she avoided all eye contact. "..Alright, are there any questions for Ms. Kim?" No one raised their hands. The teacher looked at the girl "Alright Ms. Kim, please sit next to Seungmin. Seungmin, please rais—"

"I know him, you don't have to make such a fuss." Y/N cut off the teacher as she trudded to the empty seat besides the boy. Although, she was wondering as to why a seat next to her was empty. It was either the student was late or was absent. But she couldn't care less, she was just hoping for a person who's not so noisy.

"Yah, you're one brave fella." Seungmin grinned as soon as the girl sat. "Don't call me that." She rolled her eyes as she placed her chin on her hand.

"If ya say so, fella." Seungmin's grin widened, seeing Y/N growl in anger. "Don't make me repeat myself." Y/N stared into his eyes, eyebrows furrowed as anger was evident in her face.

Seungmin looked away as he shivered in fear. He is not gonna die today, no, no, not today.

"Then let's start the cla—"

"Whoops, guess who's late again?" A voice boomed in the classroom as all the girls sighed in awe as they drool over the teen at the door. "Mr. Hwang! You're late again!"

He smiled sheepishly before speaking, "I just said that." He laughed.

The teacher sighed as she motioned him to go to his seat. "That's detention for 2 hours." The teen groaned as he slouched in his seat.

Y/N groaned as she placed her head in her arms, trying to make herself less noticeable. "Can I just die?" She whispered to herself as she felt a hand on her shoulder, "Hey, are you alright?"

She lifted her head a little before growling, "Go away." Hyunjin's eyes widened upon hearing the familiar phrase. His smile stretched as he tapped the girl's head. "Hey, you're that girl, right?" He grinned.

"No." The girl's muffled voice caused the boy to frown but realizing the she might be lying, he smiled once again. "Nahh, you're lying." Hyunjin ruffled her hair before slouching on his seat and facing the teacher, a smile still on his face.

Y/N groaned as she felt a wave of glares coming to her direction. "Please, I don't like him, for god's sake." She rolled her eyes as she grabbed her hood and lifted it up to her head, not wanting people to look at her, not at this time. Cause hell, she is in a bad mood.

"Y/N...?" Seungmin spoke up, making the girl groan once more. Now, Hyunjin knows her name. "Oh! So Y/N's your name, huh?" Hyunjin grinned as he shouted loudly, gaining the attention of the teacher and also the students. They ignored him, as it was a per usual thing.

"No, it's not."
"Yes it is,"
"No. It's not."
"Your name is Kim Y/N!" Hyunjin smiled as he grabbed her hood, and lifted it.

"No— Wait, how do you know my last name?" Y/N was confused as to why the boy knew her last name, when in fact, he just heard her first name.

"Hehe." He mischievously smiled at me. "That's fo—"

"Nevermind, I won't ask." The girl turned away as she didn't want to hear the sentence. For this reason, it made her feel sad and the sort. She felt like there was a missing piece. Yet she ignored it.

Hyunjin was startled, but dismissed the girl's feedback nonetheless. He was kinda used to it, her rejecting him.

"Okay class, so we'll be having a project." The teacher spoke up, but the class was still quiet. "And its by partners." She continued, making others shout in joy or groan in frustration.

A girl immediately shot her hand in the air, "Can we do it individually?" Y/N listened, wanting to know if she can do it by herself instead of talking with people.

"No." The teacher strictly shook her head as her hands were on her hips. "I want to go individual. I'm a new student. Let me go just this once." Y/N suddenly spoke up.

Even after that, the teacher shook her head. "No, then it would be unfair."

Y/N rolled her eyes as she laid back on her seat. She shouldn't have left her school. "Then I'll choose my partner."

"No, I'll choose your partners." The teacher blocked her again. She was starting to get irritated. "Fine. Just partner me with someone nice."

"You'll be partners with Hwang Hyunjin." The teacher stated, causing Hyunjin to smile and Y/N to frown.
