i'm sorry i haven't updated in a while or a month and such.

i've had a lot of writters block and it has been a busy time for me. end of year is coming soon and i've been doing a lit so majority of my time is wasted being lazy and resting oof. this is a special chapter made for all the ducklings who have been with me since the start when i first published this book. i'm going through a sad time where i have to say goodbye in not necessarily the way where it's see you tomorrow but more like see you in the later future. since it is such a special chapter, it will also sadly be the last chapter but that means i will be spending more time on my book time like i promised and the third and final book of this series is coming out soon~

"now that i've thought about it. we've never actually had a proper date." hyunjin woke up early in the morning and rested his head on his hand, staring at a sleepy jisung.

"well, we are idols and we have busy schedules-"

"but we've never actually gone out."

hyunjun pouted and cuddled jisung closer, burying the youngers head into his neck.

"i don't care what you say this time. i'm bringing you on a date."

jisung sighed at his determination and wrapped his arms around hyunjin's waist.

"sometimes i wonder how i ended up with someone like you." hyunjin admittedly mumbled.

"you always looked adorable. felix must have been a lucky guy two years back. you had fluffy hair, charming smile. even the cute little eating habit you have when you store all the food in your cheeks like a squirrel. no doubt that you were special. and the multiple times i convinced myself that you weren't a replacement for seungmin, i knew that we weren't going to happen because you looked so happy with felix."

hyunjin was now tearing up, trying to cover it up with his cute little giggles.

"but now i know. i know the truth. and that's han jisung is my soulmate. someone i love and loves me back and helps me bring out the better person inside of me."

jisung, however, was on the verge of tears. hearing all this, realising how much he meant to hyunjin.

they were always so caught up in schedules, and even though they spent every second together, it was hard just to take a break. jisung felt bad and guilty that he had such a great boyfriend and made it seem like he never appreciated him.

"be ready by seven. i'm going to prepare everything. see you soon, love." hyunjin kissed his cheek and winked as he made his way out.

"what do you mean you dON'T KNOW?!" seungmin and felix stared in confusion as jisung sat in front of them.

"he's taking me on a date and i don't know what to wear because i don't know where we're going!" he snapped.

seungmin sighed as felix's face lit up. he started to whisper softly in seungmin's ear as he began thinking of where hyunjin was going to take jisung.

"in that case... we have the perfect outfit."

or so they thought...
