Jeongin's POV
"Hey! I told you to mind your foot. Your stance looks awkward. Hold your sword tightly but don't think of it as a weapon. You must be one with it, think of it as a part of you that you can swing at will with ease, the same thing as raising your hand, walking, or speaking." Said Uncle Pers. He holds the highest knight position. He oversees all the activities of the kingdom knights. He is Uncle Chris', the mage general's, counterpart.
"Ah~ can we call it a day, Uncle Pers? I'm really tired. Uncle Chris already made me train a month-long training process in a day. My energy's depleted. I wanna rest~. Can we just continue this some other time? We've been training for 5 hours nowwwww! Puh-lease." I complained as I flashed the cutest smile I can pull off with my depleted energy.
"Don't think that I'll fall for that trick twice. Stop smiling and continue to practice the right stance and become one with the sword. You may be exceptional in terms of your magic powers and physical strength, but you still have to train hard to be able to fully utilize those gifts, you lucky kid. You don't understand how I envy your innate gifts!" Uncle Pers said. He's nagging again. He always nags when we're training when I mention Uncle Chris' name.
He said that he does not get along with Uncle Chris well because he's a mage and he's a knight. I don't understand, because my father, the king, said that they're literally best friends, especially before, when they were still at their primes, they were literally the best duo the kingdom has ever seen. They would annihilate enemy corps* with just the two of them combined.
(Corps - consists of 2 or more divisions. It has an approximate size of 50,000 men)
Knight General Percival, Uncle Pers for short, is the highest-ranked knight in the whole kingdom, as I've said before. I'm doing my physical training with him, and he's not cutting me even a little slack. Though he might be a tiger when on the battlefield and when he's training me, he's really kind. Though I still have a lot to learn about swordsmanship, he's not showing any mercy when we're sparring. He said that I should be used to it by now because if ever other kingdoms start a war or if the demon lord makes a move, I'll experience much more than this 'SIMPLE' training. He always says that magic is not everything, especially for me who has a ridiculous amount of magic and an unusually high physical status at the same time.
Uncle Pers has an adopted son. Though, being adopted never became an issue to him, to his family, and especially to the kingdom. He was found crying outside the kingdom gate when Uncle Pers was patrolling the area with his men. His name is Woojin, and Woojin-hyung sometimes trains with us. Woojin-hyung is also strong! I heard there's a huge chance that he's gonna be the next knight general after his father retires. I'm close to Woojin-hyung. He always tells me stories about school when we're on training breaks. We often hang out with Chan-hyung, the son of Mage General Chris. Woojin-hyung is a knight student. Knights also have magic powers, but their physical strength overpowers those magic powers. So, they focus more on physical training instead of magic training.
Mage General Chris or Uncle Chris, is the highest-ranked mage in the whole kingdom. I believe I mentioned that he and Uncle Pers are like counterparts of each other. He's in charge of my magic training. He's also a tiger when training. He's not holding back against me when sparring. He'll sometimes cast a very strong spell and he'll make me block it or counter it. His reason? He said that I should be able to take that much at this level because I'm not like the other kids. He said that I can even defeat him if I have a decent amount of real combat experience and then use some devastating spells. I have a lot of strong spells up my sleeves but I'm not allowed to use them because it's too strong, and it's too dangerous for the kingdom's people for it'll cause a major disturbance given how powerful those spells are.
