Some Stupid Mistakes (Wonwoo x Reader)

The Library

YN Perspective

It was lunch so I just grabbed my lunchbox and headed to the library. Normally students are prohibited to eat and drink in there since books could get ruined and that's destruction of school property. I've gotten the school permission to actually have lunch in the library however far from the books though of course. I walk up the same stairs where I had previously caused a huge scene by literally fallen into Wonwoo's chest. Dear lord, everyone in school wouldn't stop talking about it. I got death glares from female students who are in the club or just secretly admiring the group. Yep. That's me. I already don't have any friends so with this incident, it'll take a miracle to be friends with someone, anyone! I set at the checkout desk of the library and started eating my lunch: rice, veggies, and some pieces of beef. I was peaceful eating since no one comes over to the library during lunch until someone walked in... Wonwoo.. why is he here??? I swear he doesn't come here often either.. why would he want to come today?? I just took a small peek and saw he was headed towards the mystery/detective fiction section. You make a good choice boi. I just finish my lunch and clean up so I could continue reading this book called Every day. I enjoy it. I started reading but before long, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up and started freaking out...

"Omg! I'm so sorry! I tend to focus way too much into books that I don't hear anyone haha. So what may I help you?" I asked while smiling, trying hard not to show my anxiety.

Wonwoo's Perspective

I was trying to find this book, Sherlock Holmes the hound of the baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the section. I should just ask the student in the desk for help of finding this book right? I walked up to her but she doesn't seem to notice me at all.

"Hello?" Only silence greeted me.

"Uhhh... her name's YN.. YN? Are you on planet Earth?" While waving at her. Still silent. She can't hear me huh? She must be super into the book.. Every day.. that's a pretty good story. She seems kinda cute being so drawn into that book that she can't even hear me talking. I smiled a bit while looking at her. Hmm maybe if I tap her shoulder, she'll come back to school lol. I gently tapped her shoulder and she looked up from the book shocked.

"Uhh sorry if I startled you but I have been trying to get your attention for a while now." I said while scratching my head.

"Omg! I'm so sorry! I tend to focus way too much into books that I don't hear anyone haha. So what may I help you?" YN asked while smiling to me. Why are you so unpredictable and cute at the same time??

"I'd like to know where I could find this book called Sherlock Holmes the hound of the baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle. I tried looking at the mystery section but I can't find it. Could it have already been checked out?"

"I'll search it right know to see if it's already checked out. On the computer it says it's already checked out."

"Oh.." I'm disappointed, I wanted to read it.

"But don't worry! The book is almost due so you can read it soon! Would you like me to put that book on hold for you so once she returns it, you can check it out?"

"Yes please! I'd love that, thanks YN."

"Alright, May I have your student id?"

I handed her my id. She swiped and typed some things into the computer. And hands it back to me.

"Ok, it's all set Wonwoo, once this book is returned. There will be a notification to your student email saying you can check it out."

"Great! Thank you." I smiled and walked out. YN is pretty sweet considering all this rumor about purposely trying to fall on me so she could be close to me. People are so ridiculous sometimes.

YN Perspective

Once Wonwoo walked out, I let out a deep sigh. That was an awkward encounter. Oh shoot! afternoon classes are about to start! I started packing up and get ready to go into class.
