The next day arrived, the gang was strolling around the park searching for the perfect spot to have a picnic.
"Hm how bout this one eun ah?" Mark said pointing towards a small clearing surrounded by tall green trees, flowers of different varieties and a river with crystal blue water.
"It's perfect Markue" Koeun said pinching his cheeks
The boys set up the mat while the girls prepared the food, as they sat down Renjun arrived with Minju by his side,
"Ey guys are we late?" He questioned them as he lead Minju to his side
"Ani your right on time" Hina said checking her watch
"Well then Herinie Noonas this is Minju my friend" Renjun said putting a hand on Minjus shoulder
Yiyang and Jungyeon looked at them closely, "We can sense something is going on here hm we will find out soon" They said in unison
"Unnie when did you guys become fortune tellers?" Ningning laughed
"Wah your really Minju from Izone? I love you guys, you were actually my top choice along with wonyoung" Herin said joyfully showing off her smile
"Thank you so much because of you guys i got to debut!" Minju said with the exact same enthusiasm
While the girls were playing volleyball near the river, the guys were by the water, legs in the cool stream to cool off from the heat.
"I told you guys Minju and Herin would hit it off" Renjun said splashing water towards Jaemin
"Yah i didn't say anything back right your lucky that the girls are here or i would beat your ass, joke i love you injunie" Jaemin said showing finger hearts to the fellow 00' liner
"Well i hope you guys get enough rest now because tomorrow is the day that the girls will start preparing, tomorrow Koeun and I will meet up with the hyungs and noonas to discuss which songs would be part of the album and all those alright?" Mark said
The members of dream nodded their heads to their leader, "Markue hyung when will we help then?" Jisung asked tilting his head looking clueless
"Well Jisung Pwark you guys will be with us on the next following days, the girls will be recording for about three days if better at one or two, we will be there to help them with some tips and be there to cheer them on if needed we will also be part of the background vocals" Mark said pinching the maknaes cheeks
They continued on with their conversation going from different topic to topic, laughing at the inside jokes their hyungs don't understand, until Jeno got hit by a ball.
Rubbing his head Jeno turned back to look at the person who hit him, seeing Xiyeon putting up a peace sign and grinning at him made his eyes soften and gently smile back.
"Sorry Jenoie my bad" Xiyeon said laughing
"Aniyo its fine" Jeno said his eyes forming into crescent moons
"Markue yah come here already it's time to eat" Koeun called for the members
Drying their feet the guys walked together with the girls to Koeun who was sitting down on the picnic mat, "Ne~ eomma" they responded in chorus.
"When did you guys have time to prepare all these?!" Chenle asked amazed by all the food in front of them, ranging from sandwiches to chips to fruits
"Well I had the girls help me this morning" Koeun said pointing to the girls direction
They settled down, all of them in pairs, couples sat beside each other while Jungyeon and Yiyang were together. Mark was leaning on the tree , behind koeun, watching over them silently smiling to himself.
Looking up to the boy behind her she smiled, patting the space beside her gently, "Markue come on I already have the watermelon" Koeun said pertaining to the container in her hand
Mark's ear perked up hearing watermelon, moving quickly to Koeuns side making the girl laugh.
Stuffing himself with watermelon he pat the top of Koeuns head in adoration, "You're the best Eun ah".
"I know" Koeun replied slapping his forehead lightly
"Unnie!" "Hyung!" "PDA please!" They heard from their comrades
Facing them Mark starred at them pointing his finger to the couples watermelon still in hand, "yah you guys are dating now we dont act like you guys whenever we see you guys being all sweet right?" He questioned defensively
Koeun put her hand on top of Mark's bringing it down to their side, "guys calm down would yah and you kids show way more pda than us"
Gasps where made around the group, "Unnie" Lami said laughing
"Fine let's all agree that none of us show pda ok?!" Yiyang said
"Haha but unnie your the worst out of all of us" Hina said falling off her position from laughing too much
"I really like this group thanks for showing me here Oppa" Minju smiled at Renjun, looking back to Hina who was laughing at whatever story Jaemin was telling the 00' line, Chenle Jisung Lami and Ningning where eating the cookies they baked, the elders where video chatting their boyfriends, lastly Mark and Koeun who were talking amongst themselves enjoying each others company.
"We really like you too"
