Four year old Draco is at a park with a toy octopus. As he slides down the slide a little girl waves at him. He waves back. "Let's play" he cried. "Yes" she cried in return.
They had loads of fun. Narcissa and Lucius watched from the distance.
They played for a long time. "She's a muggle" Lucius hissed to Narcissa. She said nothing. Lucius called for Draco. Draco exchanged contacts with the girl and smiled a toothy grin before going over to his dad.
They apparted home.
Draco went to his toyroom to play jntil Lucius called him up to him. "Draco, no hanging out with mudbloods, you are bpone of the best bcreatures with purd blood, do not taint if" thundered Lucius. "Yes Dad" replied Draco, racinb up to his room. Narcissa went after him but he was fine, he was just playing.
He continued to write to the girl and still does....
