Forbidden love: Draco and Hermione: Year One

Chapter 3

Draco was worried. If his Father found out about him not being top of the class then he'd be in trouble. "I must continue the job" he murmured. He had to. "Try to behave and do not listen completly to your father" Narcissa had said. "I'll do the job" he decided.

What would Hermione say? Draco didn't think of  that but he needed help with the plan.
"Crabbe and Goyle" he murmured. Next class was going to be good! Double options with Severus Snape, the one who favours Slytherin and hates Gryffindor. "Maybe being Slytherin has a lot more advantages" he laughed. Maybe he would be top of the class!
Then he realised Hermione  was going to  be there which made him smile even wider.
He finally reached the potions room and walked in, his head held high.  He glared at Ron before taking a seat near Hermione. "Hi" whispered Draco. "Hello" replied Hermione.
"Great job at Charms today" he murmured. "Thankyou, you also did very well" she replied.
"Thanks" mumbled Draco. "That's alright" smiled Hermione.
They had to stop as they now had a partner at their desk. "Silence!" Snapped Snape before doing roll call. When he called out Draco's name, Harry and Ron turned to glare at him.
Draco glared back. Then when Harry had his name called. Snape asked him all questions thst Hermione knew the answers too. Draco felt smug, Potter doesn't know everything after all.

Potions went smoothly for Draco and he earned House Points while others lost house points for Gryffindor and Hermione did aswell by helping the sniveling  longbottom.
Draco was happy that Snape hated that house.
"Asscoiate with purebloods" Lucius once told him.
Was Hermione a pureblood?
"Focus on Slytherin students" Lucius had also said.
"I can't let her go" sighed Draco quietly after double potions.
The next lesson was Flying. Draco was good at that.
Draco was definitly waiting to see everyone fail. He would beat Hermione.
He walked in with a smug look on his face. He couldn't wait to win.
