Chapter 4.

* Nick, Sara, and Finn, at the school*

*Finn and Sara talk to Tyler and Ryan's friends, Nick talks to the principal*

Nick- "When was the last time you saw Tyler and Ryan?"

Principal- "Well they do the morning announcements together every morning but I didn't see them today."

Nick- "So they didn't come to school and you didn't notify their parents?"

Principal- "Today was School Spirit day, we don't expect to see all the students and we don't call their parents."

Nick- "Okay thank you."

Sara- "When was the last time you saw Tyler?"

Tyler's friends- "Last night at football practice, it went from 2:45 to 4:00."

Sara- "Thanks."

Finn- "When was the last time you saw Ryan?"

Ryan's friends- "At cheerleading practice, it was after school till 4:30. Then her and her brother left together."

Finn- "Okay thanks."

*Finn, Nick and Sara walk out of the school and go back to the lab.*

*the 6 of them discuss what they found out*

Hodges- "Their parents haven't seen them since 7pm last night."

*hodges lays out the pictures Crystal gave him*

Nick- "She looks kinda familiar."

*Nick points to the picture of Ryan.*

Sara- "And none of their friends have seen them since 4:30pm last night."

Morgan- "These kids have been missing for 24 hours and no one noticed..."

Greg- "I think we should interview the parents, separately."

*Nick in the interrogation room with Crystal.*

Nick- "Do you know anyone who would want to hurt or take your kids."

Crystal- "No, everyone likes Ryan and Tyler. They are good kids."

Nick- "Did you notice anything different about them last night, like the way they acted?"

Crystal- "No they both have practice every Tuesday and Thursday. Their homecoming game is next week."

Nick- "Okay thanks."

*Greg in interrogation with Carl*

Greg- "Did your kids ever get into trouble with anyone at school?"

Carl- "No, but I'm not Ryan's biological father..."

Greg- "Do you or your wife know who is?"

Carl- "No."

Greg- "Okay."

*he walks out*

*They all meet in the break room for coffee*

Nick- "So this family literally sound like the perfect family."

Sara- "Their son is the quarterback on the football team. Their daughter is the cheerleading captain, they are both straight A students."

Greg- "Except one thing."

Morgan- "What?"

Greg- "Carl... Isn't Ryan's dad."

Hodges- "That sounds like it could be motive for kidnapping Ryan but not Tyler."

Finn- "Maybe they had to take both."
