They spent the rest of the afternoon near the lake. They were mostly talking but they also played hide and seek with other children.
Wooyoung always won but it didn't seem to bother anyone.
The evening came and the sun began to set. San had to head back home.
"Wooyoungie, I'll have to go home now, it was nice meeting you. Let's meet tomorrow too."
They said goodbye to the other children.
"Sounds good, it's not like I had anything else to do anyway." Wooyoung smiled.
"Great, it's settled then. How about you come to my house to play tomorrow. My parents will go to some meeting so we can play hide and seek all around the house." San's eyes lightened up.
The last rays of the sun were disappearing behind the mountains.
"Okay, see you tomorrow." Said Wooyoung.
"Byee."
As San walked back to his house, the sun disappeared completely.
The streets were almost empty, only a few people were hurrying back home. Like him.
He knew he was getting scolded again by his parents for not coming home on time. But how could he watch the time every minute when he was having so much fun?
He shivered. Not only because the temperature got lower since the sunset, but also because all the way down the street to his house, he felt as if he was being watched.
