"What?!" everyone yelled, including Ash. The officers searched Ash's person and looked in his wallet.

"Ash Moon." one of the officers said in confusion. His partner walked over and stared at the wallet. They both looked at Ash. "You have any tattoos, piercings, birthmarks or anything?" Ash thought for a moment before shaking his head.

"No, sir." Ash said. The other officer raised Ash's shirt and looked at his partner in confusion.

"Do you know a Ashter Fair?" an officer asked. Ash shook his head in confusion before stopping and making a face.

"Yeah. I have a long lost twin brother. I stopped seeing my family after everything happened, Officer Cole." Ash said. Officer Cole smiled.

"Seems you remember me. It's good you quit hanging around them." Officer Cole said and turned to his partner. "You can uncuff him." His partner uncuffed him and Ash rubbed his wrists while frowning, deep in thought.

"You heard from Ashter in the last two months?" Officer Cole asked but Ash didn't budge. "Ash?" Ash looked up and shook his head.

"No, sir. I haven't heard from any of them in years." Ash said, noticing everyone staring at him. Officer Cole nodded and scribbled something on a piece of paper before handing Ash the paper.

"Call me if anything." Officer Cole said and firmly pat Ash's back before leaving.

"What the hell just happened?" Blake asked while staring at the front door blankly. Ash sighed deeply and carefully sat on the couch, not knowing what to do. Blake finally snapped out of it and looked at everyone. Jackson was looking between everyone, Jay was staring blankly at Blake, Amilia and Dave were looking at Ash. Blake sighed softly and walked to Ash, hugging him tightly. Ash hugged back and hid his face in Blake's stomach.

"Ash, honey, where do you live?" Amilia asked softly. Ash sighed and turned his head, leaning against Blake again.

"I live in a house close to school." Ash said. Amilia nodded while thinking before smiling lightly.

"Well, if you ever want to come here, come on over. Your Blake's boyfriend which means you're partly family." Amilia said. Everyone lounged around in the living room for a while afterward.

| four hours later |

"We're gonna go work on school work now, mama." Blake said and Amilia smiled, nodding afterward.

"Make sure to get some sleep." Dave said and smiled at the two before turning his attention back to the TV.

"Will do, dad." Blake said before turning to Ash and dragging him to his room. "Let's get started, shall we?" Ash nodded and the two spend the next three hours working on schoolwork.

"I'm think.. I'm done." Blake said and started flipping through page after page. Ash closed his school book with a loud thump and proped his arm up on the book with his chin on the palm of his hand, staring at Blake intensely. Blake abruptly stopped what he was doing when he felt Ash's gaze. "What?" Blake looked over at Ash. Ash let his arm fall on the desk and he smiled lightly.

"Just thinking." Ash said and smiled brighter before looking away and sighed at the time displayed on the digtal clock on the desk.

"Okay.." Blake said and sat there before closing his book with a soft thud unlike Ash. "You wanna go home or..?" Ash looked back at him and thought for a moment.

"It's midnight.. Think I can just crash on the floor?" Ash asked and leaned back in the uncomfortable wooden chair. Blake smiled lightly and nodded, standing up from the desk chair.

"You can, Moon." Blake said and stretched his arms above his head, his back to Ash.

"You shouldn't make your boyfriend sleep on the floor." a raspy voice said. Ash looked up and saw Jackson in the middle of a yawn while looking half asleep. Blake chuckled and turned completely toward his brother.

"It's up to him if he wants too." Blake said and walked closer to Jackson. "Now, go to bed with your boyfriend. You need sleep. You hardly get sleep considering your a soldier." Blake said and gave Jackson a hug. Jackson smiled lightly and pat Blake's head.

"I will, little dude. Good night you two." Jackson said and stumbled to his room.

"He's a soldier?" Ash asked blankly. Blake glanced back at Ash and nodded.

"Yeah. It scares me sometimes.. The thought that one day he could just never come home. There are time where someone knocks on the door and I think that it happened, my big brother isn't coming home.." Blake said and carefully sat on the bed while trying to hold his tears back. Ash carefully walked over and brung Blake into his arms.

"I honestly don't know what to say. I've never been close with my family. I just know that I'll be right beside you through anything and everything." Ash said, trying to comfort Blake the best he could.

"Thank you.." Blake whispered and moved from the hug gently before laying down under the blankets and sighing. Ash smiled lightly at the younger and laid down on the edge of the bed, careful not to invade Blake's personal space.

The two passed out around 12.

Blake woke up around 3 AM and felt Ash's arms around his waist. He smiled and turned so he was facing Ash. He hid his face against Ash's shoulder and the bed. Smiling lightly, he fell into a deep sleep in Ash's arms.

The two would eventually grow unseperateable.
