"hey bumble," naomi said. she tried her best to look and sound upset. that was something brandon picked up on quickly.

"what's wrong, omi?" he asked, concerned.

"my manager said that i've been doing really well down here," she replied.

"well that's good isn't it?" he asked, pushing his glasses up onto his nose.

"yeah, but i'm stuck here for five more days," naomi said. brandon's face dropped into disappointment.

"well, at least you're doing good," he tried to sound happy. naomi's heart broke a little. her and brandon hadn't said anything about their feelings since their first date, but naomi knew that she really liked him and it killed her to see him sad.

"yeah, i just really miss you," she replied. naomi didn't know why she felt so upset. she knew that she would see him tomorrow night.

"i really miss you too omi. it's only five more days though," brandon said. he pulled his hood onto his head.

"yeah i guess," naomi replied. she couldn't stand to see him sad any longer. "hey bumble, i gotta go. but i will talk to you soon, okay?"

"okay. bye omi."
