Choices ( TMNT x reader)

Chapter 3- The Beginning

It was late at night. 

Y/n was at his/her apartment, playing video games by himself/herself. There were no classes tomorrow and she/he already studied. Her/his (Colour) eyes glued to the screen, fingers pressing countless buttons on the controller, and face laced with a focused expression. Clicking sounds, video game noises, and the occasional grunts and murmurs echoed throughout the apartment.

After sometime the game ended. Y/n placed the controller on the floor beside him/her and stretched his/her arms. She/he looked at the clock that read 12:00 A.M. His /her eyes widen at how late she/he had been playing. '' It's twelve already?'' She/he muttered and scratched his/her eyes, to keep them from closing.

She/he got up and went to his/her room. She/he opened the door, went to his/her bed, and fell asleep. Not minding to shut and lock the door.

-Timeskip-

'Ring, ring, ring!' The alarm clock beside Y/n's bed rang loudly. Y/n opened his/her eyes and looked at where the annoying sound was coming from. When she/he spotted it, Y/n pulled the plug of the alarm clock. Causing it to shut down and fell on the floor with a loud 'thud'. 

Y/n covered himself/herself with the blanket and attempted to go back to sleep, but failed. After minutes of him/her moving at countless directions and counting sheep. She/he shot up and rubbed his/her eyes. After stretching his/her arms, she/he exited the bed and went to the kitchen. It was still very late in the night and the lights were all off.

Y/n stumbled about and hold the walls for support and guide her/him to the stairs. She/he felt the walls for a light switch since she/he can't see very well. Then after a few seconds, Y/n felt the cold plastic switch and flicked it up. The light bulb at the ceiling illuminated by a bright white light. Everything became visible now. She/he walked down the stairs and opened more of those lights.

Y/n reached the kitchen. She/he took a glass and filled it with water. A loud bang sliced through the silence, making Y/n jumped/yelped in surprise and drop the glass of water. Thus shattering the glass into pieces and water making the floor wet. He/she looked at the water spill and towards where the sound came from. 'What could that be?' Y/n thought as she/he began walking towards the sound. Then a new noise could be heard. 

' Voices? I thought I locked the door before sleeping?' She/he narrowed his/her eyes and followed the sound of the voices and the loud bang. Y/n had reached her/his room. The voices were sounding a bit robotic? She/he slowly walked towards the door and eavesdrop on the conversation. 

'' So, you're proposing that this girl/boy can destroy the turtles?'' A robotic voice said.

'' Indeed, she/he has the ring. '' A familiar voice said.

'' What was special about the ring that this girl/boy posses?'' The robot asked confuse

The familiar voice laughs softly and then spoke again. 

'' The ring is a portal to a another dimension that is a much more powerful one than yours or mines. The ring channels the energy of the dimension to the person it deems worthy. So it will not be easy getting that ring from Y/n.''  

Y/n's eyes widen after hearing his/her name. Then it clicked. The person that was telling that information to a bunch of robotic voiced strangers was (Best friend's name). They were the only ones that knew about the ring, except for Y/n. She/he decides to listen more.

'' How do we get the ring from the said human?'' The robotic voice asked

'' Well it's easy. Y/n trusts me more than anyone else and she/he will probably give that ring to me, when he/she was tired of it. Which will be eventually. Just give me a couple more time to make him/her to give it to me.'' They said

It was silent for awhile, until.

'' Y/n, I know your eavesdropping on us. Come out! There's no need to hide. '' (Best friend"s name) shouted.

Y/n's eyes widen as she/he hears a whirring sound and immediately stepped aside as the door blew up behind him/her. She/he covered his/her head from the debris and quickly stood up to be face to face with her/his former best friend and two robots with a small pink creature on their stomachs, holding futuristic guns. ( Former best friend's name/FBF's name) had a evil glint in their yes and a sadistic grin on their face. 

Y/n narrowed his/her eyes at them and made a fist. '' Why would you do this?! I trusted you from the start and we made a promise together!'' Y/n shouted in anger and betrayal. (FBF's name) laughed loudly. Y/n made a confuse and angry glare at them. '' ANSWER ME!!! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE TO GET THIS?!! WHY?!!'' She/he yelled/demanded at them. Hot tears starting to fall from Y/n's eyes as his/her thoughts ran through his/her head. 

'' YOU WANNA KNOW WHY?!!'' (FBF's name) shouted. Their voice filled with anger and hysteria. They began to laugh again, hysterically. '' I'LL TELL YOU WHY!!!'' They pulled out he same gun as the robots, but much more advance looking. Y/n pulled out his/her wrist with the ring on. They both pointed their weapons at each other. '' THIS IS WHY!!'' Then they began to charge towards Y/n.
