"It's so beautiful," I say as we stare out at the city lights as we sit on the hood of his car parked on top of a hill.
"Sure is," he says.
I turn to look at him and find him staring at me. "What are you looking at?" I smirk.
"Nothing," he smiles. He then brings his arm around me.
I lean in closer to him and rest my head on his shoulder, looking back out at the scenery. "Thanks for tonight," I pause shortly. "Well actually this whole day."
"Thank you for letting me spend it with you."
"I didn't really have a choice," I tease.
He laughs out loud, "So you're saying I forced you to hang out with me?"
"Yeah," I say, unable to hold back my smile.
"Wow. Okay." He says removing his arm away from me, pretending to be disappointed.
"You're such a baby," I laugh.
He doesn't say anything, so I try to quickly plant a kiss on his cheek to get his attention. But at the same time, he turns to face me, so we end up hitting our foreheads.
"Ow," we both say.
Our eyes then meet and he places a hand on my cheek. We both lean in closer, our faces less than an inch apart. I close my eyes, and his lips touch mine.
