Since they were kids they promised each other that no matter what happens that nothing would change between them and they meant that. But ever since that Sana left to go pursue her dream and to live life like the way she wanted. Nayeon slightly felt alone and not safe without her and so she began to miss Sana more than she intended to be. After a couple of years later Nayeon and Sana meet again in this awkward situation.
"Hey." Jungkook said.
"Hi do I know you?" Nayeon asked.
"I'm Jeon Jungkook but just call me Jungkook." Jungkook said.
"I'm Im Nayeon but call me Nayeon." Nayeon said.
Nayeon and Jungkook continued to stare into each other's eyes when someone called his name.
"I missed you." Sana said kissing Jungkook in front of Nayeon.
"Sana?" Nayeon asked.
"Nayeon I can't believe that you're here!" Sana said happily.
"I didn't know that you and Jungkook were so close." Nayeon said.
"I forgot to mention that I'm dating Sana." Jungkook said.
"Oh? Really?" Nayeon asked.
"Yes and I couldn't be anymore happier." Sana said kissing Jungkook again.
Nayeon stood there and watched and wished that was her and not Jungkook that Sana is kissing and it made her feel some type of way that she shouldn't feel about the person that she's spent her entire life with. Sana had changed and Nayeon didn't like the fact that Sana replaced her with someone new without telling her first. So she walked away and couldn't bare to watch them together.
"That should've been me Sana and not Jungkook." Nayeon mumbled.
"Excuse me but you're not supposed to be in this class." Jennie said.
"Just leave me alone." Nayeon said burying herself in her arms.
"No way am I going to let you cry your sorrows out and leave you in misery." Jennie said.
"Why do you care?" Nayeon asked.
Jennie became hesitant and Nayeon went back to moping about Sana who broke her heart by dating Jungkook who is supposed to be her and not him.
"Nayeon you left in a hurry. Who's this?" Sana said looking at Jennie who was smirking.
"I'm Jennie and I am Nayeon's girlfriend." Jennie said.
"Your girlfriend?" Sana asked.
"She's not my girlfriend." Nayeon said.
"Not yet because Nayeon asked me out on a date." Jennie said.
"You asked her out?" Sana asked getting quite angry.
"I didn't ask her out. She's just making stuff up." Nayeon said.
"You never changed have you?!" Sana yelled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Nayeon asked.
"Whatever. It's not like you cared anyway." Sana said.
Still wondering why Sana made such an outburst but Nayeon knew exactly why because that's how Sana would act when she's jealous and wants what's hers which is Nayeon and not Jungkook.
"Your friend seemed nice." Jennie said.
"Stay away from me." Nayeon said.
Nayeon didn't talk to Jennie again and did whatever she could to fix things between her and Sana because the last thing that she needs right now is for her childhood best friend and so called crush to be mad at her for something that she didn't quite do.
