I walked in the room . the speakers blasting music . people dancing . the gym was amazing . I couldn't even think about how much work and time this took to look like this . And I bet it cost a lot . I didn't know what to say . I looked around I saw Shannon dancing with Nate . " This place is epic !Carly said she nudged my shoulder . "told you they were going out". she said quietly in my ear.
" define epic " Sara exclaimed, smiling and starting to sway to the beat . " I agree " Matt said, impressed . " Isn't it a little to much for a Halloween dance ?'' i said . " do you like our outfits" sara said . " how come you guys went without me ?! " " I'm sorry , we just , I, we didn't know , you were coming to the dance " Carly said .

" So you guys didn't even bother to ask ?!"

"Whatever , let's dance !" I said " plus we just got her let's not ruin it, the dance I mean " " Looks like someone already did " Sara said while rolling her eyes . her eyes filled with pure hatred I turned around . ugh Shannon . Louis . I don't know what she saw in him . oh wait it's because he's rich isn't it . I can't believe he couldn't see how she was using him . " Guys c'mon lets just go let's not let her ruin our fun " I said . patting they would say " fine , whatever ". but they didn't . " Gosh what are you wearing a princess costume !" " Better than yours " " Yeah right ! "

Matt was ready . about to jump in to . " Shannon please get a life , don't you have anything else to do , go somewhere else !" . She could really get on yours nerves . She walked back over to Louis , like she owned the place . " Hi , my name is Shannon , and I don't have a life !" Matt said mimicking her . Sara giggled . " You're so silly !"

We started dancing . Carly got everyone's attention . she was the best dancers . last night she even told me she's gonna sigh up for hip hop . " Go Carly , go Carly , go Carly , go , go " people sang . I joined in . So did Sara and Matt . The music changed to slow . very slow .

" Wanna dance ?" I heard Matt say to Sara " sure, why not ?" . They smiled , while he led her to the dance floor . I felt my jaw tighten , I mean I love her , as a friend . but I'm just jealous !

. Just a bit , I knew no one was gonna dance with me .

I could have guessed Shannon was gonna say " hey look , loser doesn't have a dance partner " . I sat on the bench . someone had to come , I mean a lonely cute girl sitting on a bench sadly .

I opened my make up bag . Sara gave me it , but only for the night . I put some Chapstick on my lips . cherry flavour . the blue eyeshadow matched perfectly with my blue girl police costume . I thought it was cute , better than Shannon 's . I still can't figure out why she hates me . on the first day Sara said she picks someone and sticks to it , until she gets bored . by the nights done she better be bored . " Would you like to dance " i Heard . I felt myself blush , even if I didn't know who it was . I was happy . jerry . he sat with the cool kids , I heard he's not that bad once you get to know him . I searched for him , just to see if they " broke up " even if they weren't really together yet .
