Chapter twelve

" You can't just NOT tell your family this stuff !" . He opened his mouth then closed it . I took the letter and dashed up this stairs . As you can probably see, I'm quite mad . I went to my parents room . This was all happening so quickly I forgot of the people and things around me . I kept going anyways . I banged on the door . " We need to talk" ! I said impatiently . " Alex ?, is that you oh come in " she said happily . she wouldn't be so happy if she new what I was going to say . I didn't wait a second before bursting though the door . " Are you kidding how the ..... " I stopped myself from swearing . mainly because my brother was behind me hiding behind my dad hugging his legs . "I she took the letter" . Dad said holding Timmy in his arms . "Ohh my letter from the doctor " . She opened it . " Why is this opened and why are you angry .... " My dad jumped in " honey , I tried to stop her but ... " . My mother went from unicorns and candy happy to worried the worst worry . whatever that's supposed to mean . " Oh hun ... I " she murmured . " Aren't you happy Alex , we get new sister ! " Timmy said . he really needed help on his English . Ok , I am happy but how am I supposed to jump around in circles when my family was been hiding it for weeks ? And why hadn't I known first ? I mean, I'm the oldest. Timmy is like , what , five and he learns this like a week before me . I wouldn't have been mad if they told me . " Listen Alexia I know that your mad and worried ; and probably thinking why ... but we just ".
I hated when she called me that , my real name I mean. Alex, sounds better for me . "What did I say !" . " Sorry alexi... I mean Alex , but just think of it you and your new cuter than ever little sister !"
I chuckle I little thinking 'bout it . I stop myself repeatedly tapping my toes to the rhythm of my favourite song . " OK ,"
" Okay ? , Okay what " my dad says , placing his hands on my neck .
"You can have the baby ".
My mom and dad looked at each other in confusion .
" Um , Alex ..." my mom explained . " it wasn't really a question ..." . I noticed how stupid I really sounded . despite my need to clear out my stupidity I left the room to eager to call Matt , sara , and Carly . I had to tell them , I had to let out the mix of mad and excited emotional wreck I had . I grab my phone out my back pocket .
I click on the numbers .
Carly and sara come on but it takes a few minutes to get Matt on the phone , but it wasn't that much to bare .
" What?" Matt said seeming angrily. I don't know what his problem has .
" What's wrong with you ? " I said confused .
" Tell text you what happened sara said quietly",

They probably got into a fight again . There starting to fight over everything nowadays . it can get annoying sometimes too. I few weeks ago they got

I heard my dad say . his voice booming around the house .
" Honey , I ... I can't get ....".
She said and held my hand . I almost screamed . Almost .
But I didn't I think we all heard enough screaming for the night . by night I meant 1:00 am I went to Carly's place for the week it took time for me to persuade her , but we agreed that if I help make dinner for a week I could go . I made sure I added the help part . my mom always likes to do stuff by herself so I would end up going to the sleepover party And not helping doing dinner , I'm so smart . Even though I might end up with some work to do it won't be a lot. I was still at Carly's place when I heard the news of the baby . Carly lives in a huge mansion . just I but far from my house . I hate to say but I might just be hint jealous of her. I mean she has a great house , great mom , and looks of food . it would have been a perfect life if her dad hadn't died . but me , Matt and sara try not to say anything about it . Carly's mom is so sweet , she made us cookies and literally bought three boxes of candy and two bags of cheddar cheese popcorn ( my favourite) she dropped me off at home too. And she seemed careless . yeah she would care if we started kicking each other but other then killing each other she doesn't very much care .
I remember rushing up the stairs to see my mom crying . I couldn't remember more everything else is just a blur hiding behind the circumstances that's happening right now . my heart was beating hard . I worried someone might hear it . I worried of my mom saying
" Honey , don't cry I'll be alright ". enough with the worries and sleepovers , I had to help her . " Argh!". she said,
Grabbing my fathers hand .
I saw his face turn red , holding in the pain that I knew hurt I managed to give out I light giggle . there's something I noticed someone I mean .
" Hey , dad where's Timothy ?".
He hated when I called him that . when anyone calls him that , I mean . " He's in the car sleeping , could you go in with him ?". he said trying to make mom stand . no luck .
" Uhh... are you sure ... I mean I'm sure he's fine ". I said hopefully he will say yes . my brother so annoying ! plus I think I want to help my mom
" Dad , I wanna help!". I said
He gave me the eye .
I fret .
I reach for the door . taking a quite glance of my mother .
I walk out to the drive way ,
I wasn't surprised that all the neighbours lights were on .
I heard the neighbours across
The yell " Shut up already !".
They were a bunch of teenagers
I felt bad for the old man who lived there to take care of them . Once when I was playing
Volleyball in the front yard my purple ball went over to there yard . it was my longest hit yet .
I remember running across the
Street to go get it . when I reached I knocked on the door .
They took the ball away from me . stupid teenagers . but it didn't matter , not a lot anyway.

I hoped to the back seat of my car next to my little , sleeping
Brother .

" Hey , " I said tapping his shoulder . " wake up !". I whispered .
he groaned . " No , I go sleep".
He said closing his eyelids .
" You can go to sleep when you learn proper English ".

He groaned again as he sat upwards .

" What ?". " Oh nothing , moms just having a baby , I guess it's just a normal day . I'm so bored
Nothing is ever going on in this family ! " . I said with sarcasm .
" I know it's so boring !" He said
Reaching over to the steering wheel .
" I don't have anything to say ..."
I push my hair behind my ear .
And relaxed .

Beep Beep !

I whipped out my phone .

Carlylove56 : Did your mom have the baby ?!?

Alexia_forever : no not yet
Look I really sound be talking

Alexia_forever : are you serious?
You're mad at me because I have to go because my moms having a baby?

I waited a few minutes for a reply . I was out raged , how could she be mad about something like this is not like she can blame me . It's not something you can blame Someone for .
" You look sad " my little brother Timmy said trying to comfort me .
" Nah, I'm fine "
He reached his tiny , puny hands out towards me for a hug . which was kinda cute , I won't lie about that .
I offered him the small hug . it wasn't much comforting that dad
Banged opened the car door .
I let go of Timmy . he helped my mom in the car . my mom was still weeping . my dad carefully helped my mom put on her seatbelt .timmy looked anything but calm , I looked anything but happy . there were two reasons for that seeing my mom like ... well this is depressing . and the fact that Carly isn't my friend for something so stupid . wait I take that back , THIS wasn't stupid she was being stupid for being mad at me for me not texting her .
" Alexis , is your seatbelt on?"
I nodded . I was to sad to talk , I had a lump in my throat that was stoping me from saying anything in anything in a normal voice .
" Alexis " my mom said . " You don't have to cry " .
I sat quietly . I wanted to talk to her but ... not with my dad and Timmy standing there it seemed weird. I tried to cheer myself up by looking at funny posts on Twitter , on my phone . After I was done I click the off button .

I felt my eyes squint and my mouth go into a straight line . I really couldn't deal with this guy now . plus my whole family was here . I didn't want them to hear what I was saying to .
I decided to text him.

Alexia_forever : hello ?
I waited a few seconds for a reply .

Jerry101: I literally just called you

Alexia_forever : my whole family is near me . and plus why do you want to talk anyways you kissed me then never talked to me for a year !

Jerry101: yeah and I came here to say sorry

Alexia_forever : it took you an year to say sorry

Jerry101: are you going to take me back ?

Alexia_forever : we were never together but ok...

Jerry101: really thanks love ya !

I really can't believe I did that .
I should have no and dumped him on the spot . even though we weren't together , but still .
OMG . I just realized he's by boyfriend now . A smirk appeared on my face .

" Why are you smiling " my cute brother , Timmy said .
" Nothing " I lied . should I tell mom about this ? I don't think telling dad would be smart . I'm sure not telling Timmy . he'd tell both mom and dad for sure .
It took me a while to take it all in . me the unpopular bullied girl . has a boyfriend Jerry mackerel like one of the most popular guys in school . I never noticed that I liked him . it sounded weird . the word "like".
I let out an sigh .right know I was all moods . worried, sad,happy and lovable and just a bit confused .

The ride to the hospital was calm . expect for my moms constantly screaming .

My dad parked fast, and quite dangerously. but I really didn't blame him . he told us to get out of the car . I quickly took of me seat belt. " Alexia, dear, ". my father said getting out of the car . " Get Timmy out of his car seat". I nodded and took him out off the car seat and got him out of the car. Mom slowly came after us , taking deep breaths .
