*Ta'liyah pov* "Miahh, I get it. Your excited" I slightly yelled at my best friend, Miah, as she annoyingly went on about the coach that was here. "Ok girl I'm sorry, but he fine" she stated lastly, with a shrug "OK GIRLS, LISTEN UP" coach Danny yelled over the locker room "We got 2 more games to win, until we make it into the finals" "If we keep it together, and play as a team, we will beat them old cougars out there, ok?" He continued "Ok we got this, just go out there and do what you've been doing. Lions on 3" he finished "1" "2" "3" "Lions" the whole team yelled as all of our hands went into the air ~After the game~ "Ouuu, girl did you see his fine ass in them stands. Girl he could get this work, ion care" Miah said "He wasn't all that" I replied with a simple shrug "Gurl that's because yo ass big stuck on Tre ole dog ass" she said with a eye roll I just rolled my eyes. There's no point in continuing the conversation "Lyly I need you out in the gym for a second" Coach yelled from the door I slowly approached the door to the main gym with my gym bag, it seemed like the whole team stopped what they were doing just to look my way. Slightly annoyed I pushed the door open "Call me later Miah" I yelled back as the door closed A crossed the gym stood Coach Danny and 2 other unknown people. "Wassup coach?" I approached, with my arms crossed, annoyed, tired and ready to leave. "Ly I want you to meet, Coach Darius Rodgers and his son Jamar-" "Jj" the younger guy said "Oh well, and his son Jj Rodgers" Coach d continued "They came and watched the game tonight and they wanted to speak to you" with that he finished and I shifted my eyes over to the guys, waiting for them to speak "Well I'd like to start of with how well you did out there, you were great, but let's cut straight to the chase, I think you would be a great addition to our team next season, only if you want to be" the older one concluded " Wow, that's a lot to take in" I awkwardly chuckled Looking over a coach d for help he slightly nodded his head, which gave me a lot of reassurance about my next answer "But uh, i think I'd like to take your offer" I said with a smile " Great just great, we'll be getting a hold of you soon, with further details" and with that they walked of " I know that was a hard choice, and I'm sure you love this team, but at the ends of the day you have to do what's best for you and going to that team is in your best interest" Coach d said once they were ear shot away I hugged him, into the hug I felt a tear run down my face "Thank you so much coach d,I don't know how to thank you" "Just go make something outta yo self girl" he said with a chuckle "Now get outta here and go celebrate with that fine mama of yours" he joked "Get outta here with that.." I made a disgusted face "but thank you ill see you later" I said walking off A I walked off I heard him comment yah yah I shook my head and walked out the gym to the parking lot
