Hi my name is Jaslynn but everyone in my family calls me Jazzy, I come from a not so rich family, but they do everything they can to make sure i'm good since i'm the only child. I'm 17 years old and also a senior in high school. I'm mixed with black and puerto rican. The one thing I love about myself is my hair.
"Come on Jaslynn your gonna be late for the first day of senior year I know your excited" my dad yelled behind my door.
He was right I was beyond excited to finally get out of this trashy school. It's thots, fake gangsters, you name it and I just can't wait to leave.
I'm pretty smart in school I already have some scholarships to some pretty decent schools.
"I'm up dad" I said with my head in my pillow.
I got up and headed to my bathroom and took a shower with my dove bar soap. After about 15 minutes I got out and rubbed my Pure Seduction body lotion on me and continued to get dressed.
I wore a black long sleeve crop top and some ripped jeans with my fire vans. I wasn't gonna go all out because I really didn't have anyone to impress.
I dried my hair with my diffuser and did some light make up, and I was ready.
I'm really not a morning person so I didn't eat anything.
As I was waiting on my mom to take me to school I gotta face time call from my best friend Janina, Nina for short.
"Hey bestiee" she screamed in my ear.
"First of all calm down you know it's too early and why are you so excited for school" I said a tad bit annoyed.
"Because bestfriend there supposed to be these new guys that moved her from California, and from what i heard they fine as hell"
"Really that's why your screaming" I said unamused.
"Girl i'm starting to think you swing the other way, because you be having dudes drooling over you and you just turn them down"
"Umm because i'm trynna focus on school and boys aren't gonna do anything but hold me back, and we both know I don't need that"
" What ever you say best friend i'm finna head to school" she said defeated.
I hung up the phone when I saw my mom come through my door.
"Come on niña time to go" my mom said in her soft voice.
I got of the bed and made it up making my way down stairs to my mom car.
While in the car I was thinking about how this is my last year, now that I think about it it's a bittersweet feeling.
Before I knew it we were pulling up to my school.
"Bye niña have a good day you hear me I love you" she said giving a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you too" I said not wanting to get out of the car.
I had to go get my schedule from the main office and when I got in there I saw to new people i've never seen in the school, they were giving me weird look so I just busied myself with my phone until I got my schedule.
"Here you go Ms.Jaslynn" the dean said as he gave me my paper.
I looked in it and my first class was Global Science. As I was making my way to class extra slow because I didn't wanna go. Someone bumped into me.
"Umm excuse you" I said to him
"Oh imma sorry ma I slipped" He said obviously lying
"Oh really, you slipped might i ask on what because these floor are very dry" I said with a little attitude.
"Aye no need for a attitude lil mama" He said flashing a cute smile.
I just turned around heading to my class before the think i'm skipping.
"Aye tho can I get cho numba' tho" he said
I just kept walking and put my headphones in playing H.E.R- Jungle my favorite song.
