Learning new skills

Its been a few weeks since you've joined U.A.. Your peers were really nice, minus the perv, and you made great friends with them. Bakugo was nice to you with all the yelling included. After all the moving into the dorms and general learning, it was time to start training.

"Ok class, today we are doing sonething different" aizawa spoke up. You were sitting on Bakugos desk as he was angrily showing you how to do a proper braid. "Today we will be training your quirks" everyone cheered and started mumuring. "Yo Baku! I want to see how well your quirk can go against mine!" You exclaimed. He smirked a little "stop moving and maybe you'll see" you grinned showing your sharp teeth before looking back at Aizawa. "Everyone will be able to go against whoever they want. We've changed the gym so its a tinier version of the USJ". You laughed a little, glad that there would be a water part. "(Y/n)! You should go against tsuyu in the water area!" Kirishima suggested. "I would actually like to see that" todoroki popped in. You thought it would be a good idea. "Lets do it! What do you think Tsu?" She nodded and smiled. "I swear (y/n) stop moving, im almost done!" Bakugo put your head back facing forward and tied your hair.

At the gym everyone rushed to the water area after putting on their new hero costumes. Aizawa even got there in a quick amount of time with Present mic next to him. You sat on one side of the area with bakusquad and tsuyu sat in the other side with Dekusquad. The water was murky which was good for both of you. "You got this (y/n)!" Denki cheered you on as you put on your goggles. You felt a hand on your shoulder, you looked back to see Bakugo. "If you mess up your hair, you're in trouble" seeing as he was your best friend, you took this jokingly and serious. "Of course, I know" with that, mic yelled 'go' and you jumped in.

Your body changed rapidly, letting you sink down. You clicked on the small camera Aizawa put on yours and tsuyus goggles so everyone could see what was happening. You streached out your hand and gave a thumbs up. You flinched as you heard anouther splash. Sinking under a few rocks, tsuyu swam by. The objective was to imobilize the opponent. You slowly came out and stalked tsuyu, keeping a good distance from her. Your sonar hearing and voice aloud you to throw noises, so you made it sound like there was a splash going out of the water. Tsuyu snapped her head to the noise and quickly swam over to the land. You followed her and circled the small piece of land. You popped your head out from the water behind tsuyu. Slowly getting on to land, you grabbed your seaweed. Tsuyu turned around and shot her tongue at you, you managed to dodge her. She latched onto your hair though. "Not the hair!!" You sent out the seaweed and wrapped it around her. She struggled and hopped into the water. Still in the seaweed wrap, you slowly pulled her out. She wiggled and put up a strong fight. As she got closure to you she shot out her tongue and hit you in the face, causing you to drop the seaweed. You managed you step on the seaweed to hold her in place as she wrapped her tongue around you. You bared your teeth a little in a agressive way as you growled. "And its a draw!!!" Mic yelled.

As you were talking to your friends, todoroki came up behind you. "(Y/n)?" You turned around. "Yes todo?" He straightened a little. "Good job out there. I wish I could've seen your water manipulation" you smiled a little, slightly startling him with your sharp teeth. "Tomorrow I can show you!" Bakugo stood behind you protectivly as todoroki smiled a little and walked away.
