Chapter 12

*Breanna's P.O.V.*

 I wake up and hear a sweet voice singing "Smile" to me. ♫♫ Smile even though it's aching. Smile even though it''s breaking. When there is clouds in the sky you'll get by if you just smile. ♫♫ I smile and look  at him. He smiles at me and says "Good morning, love" I look in his eyes caressing his cheek "Good morning handsome!" He blushes and I giggle and kiss his cheeks softly "I love you so much, Mikey" I whisper in his ear. He smiles and says "I love you more, Bre" "I love you most" I say challenging him "I love you to the moon and back" He says smiling. "I love you infinity!" I say. He makes a thinking face and then a frown. "Okay! You win!" he says still frowning. I giggle and kiss him on the lips. He didn't respond to the kiss for a couple seconds.

 Then he smiled and started kissing me back. He cupped both of my cheeks in his hands and kissed me deeper. I wrap a curl around my finger. He rolls over and straddles me without parting for one second. I felt his tongue at my bottom lip asking for entrance. I teased him and didn't let him in. He smirked and grabbed my bum and I squealed. He tongue dives into my mouth and started exploring every inch of my mouth. He then takes his tongue out and sucks on my lower lip. I moan into his mouth and rub up and down his back. He smirks at my moan and goes down to my jaw line and kisses down to my neck. It's hard to keep my moans in. I let out a small moan and he smirks again. I then feel his teeth gently nibble on my sweet spot.

I moan even louder and he smiles coming back up to my lips. He stares in my eyes for a couple of seconds and smiles. He then leans down to kiss me again. I love his sweet moves and caresses. I love this guy with all my heart. Just when we get into the kiss, the phone rings. Michael stopped and stared at the phone and then back at me. I sigh and nod my head as a sign of saying 'go ahead'. He sighs as well and grabs the phone while he is still straddling me. "Hello? Yes? What?!? Okay. What hospital?" As soon as he said that my heart began racing, afraid it was Katherine or one of Michael's siblings in the hospital.

 Then I see Michael's eyes get glassy and his voice started cracking. "Okay. I will be there. Bye." He hangs up the phone and looks at me with a single tear rolling down his cheek. I wipe it away and ask "What happened?" He sniffs and says "It's Tito. He's in the hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. He got shot twice. He is in a coma." He then breaks down into tears, covering his face with his hands. I pull him to lay on me and say "Shhh. Baby he is going to be okay. Don't worry." I was trying my hardest to hold in my tears because of Michael's sake. I don't want him to worry about me at the same time. He then sits back up and asks "Can we go see him, Breanna?"

 I smile at him warmly and say "Of course you can, baby!" He smiles and kisses me softly before climbing off of me. We get dressed and we head out the door. When we got to the hospital, we went to the front desk. "Excuse me." I say in a shy voice. "Yes?" the nurse comes walking towards us. "Can we please see one of your patients here? His name is Tito Jackson." The nurse then smiles and says "Room 345 on the third floor ma'am." "Thank you so much" I say before we walk to the elevator. When we got in, I felt Michael's hand grip tighten. I rub his knuckles softly with my thumb to calm him down as I was say "Baby. Please don't worry. He is going to be fine."

  His grip loosens and he pulls me into a hug. He rests his head on my shoulder and I hug him tightly. The elevator dings saying we were at our destination. We pull back and smile at each other. I grab his hand and we walk out of the elevator and towards Tito's room. We get to his room and walk in. I see all of Michael's siblings and Katherine in tears. I then look and can't believe what I am seeing. Tito was in the hospital bed hooked up with a bunch of wires and he was on a ventilator to breath for him. He had a bandage on his head and on his chest. I then see Michael drop to his knees once he saw Tito. I drop to mine too and hug Michael and whisper in his ear "Baby. I know it hurts, but the best thing you can do for him is to be strong.

 "Michael kept sobbing into my shoulder "For me." I say and I feel him smile on my shoulder. I smile too knowing that I made him feel better. He walks over to everyone and says hi to them. I do too. When I get to Katherine, I hug her and kiss her cheek. I whisper in her ear "I am so sorry, Mother." She wanted me to call her mother instead of Katherine. I didn't mind it at all. I love Katherine and her children like they are my own family. She started to cry and I quickly start talking again. "I can't believed this happened!" She then whispers back

 "I know. Me either. The worst thing to see in your whole life is seeing one of your children hurt. You will understand it one day in life, and I am hoping that one day of your life is with Michael. You made him the happiest I have ever seen him before. Thank you for saving my son Breanna." I had tears in my eyes and I kiss her on her cheek again. Then we heard Michael talking to Tito, telling him how much he loves him and how sorry he is for acting so mean to him lately. I was standing there crying. I hate to see the man I am in love with, hurting.
