(This doll had blood soaked into it before the tainted batch made in the third movie)
after slowly transmogrifying in an evidence locker as the unresting Soul of Charles grew stronger, a newly awakened Chucky escapes the Police Station Evidence Ward when he is brought out for examination along with a few other articles that were going to the [UNSOLVED] archives.
he climbed off the table and snuck out, roughing it on the street and enduring great hardship before finally giving up, slumping against the wall of an alleyway and that's when the Heroine (Y/N) the Female Protag happens upon the disheveled doll on her way back home.

(as a reformation of AWB-ys kidnapping bit in Chapter 9 of their fic, this version of (Y/N) locks Chucky in the car and gets her purse (with a small array of essentials) and her cellphone along with travel charger, she is very co-dependant on her tech her comfort items and hygiene products.)
