Training Begins

Hello Readers~! Sorry for the long wait but my teachers felt the need to pile on work before we went on fall break. But, I finally got some time to write so I'll try to give you guys another chapter by the end of this week. Hope you guys enjoy~!

The next morning, Monica woke early to a weird smell. She quietly slid out of bed as Jordan was still asleep, and started to see where the smell was coming from. She ended up in the living room and stood there for a moment trying to find a source to the smell. Then she turned to the wall seeing the outline of a blue circle. Curious, she looked at it closely, trying to figure out what it was until a voice startled her. "Monica..? Is that you?" She looked up from the circle on the wall and saw Jordan standing there. "Morning, Jor Jor!" She smiled wide causing Jordan to gasp "Monica what happened?" She raised a brow "What's wrong, Jordan?" "Monica you have ears and a tail! And your eyes are different!" "What?" She gasped as she ran to the nearest mirror and sure enough her eyes had went from their normal brown color to a bright green with her pupils in slits much like a cat's while two greyish blue cat ears sat atop her head and a long tail to match hung behind her. Her jaw dropped as she saw the changes, showing off elongated canines. "I..I guess I finally got my new...traits from Bastet.." She poked at her new features before turning back to Jordan who was staring at her ears curiously. "You gonna be able to get used to these, Jor Jor?" She giggled as her tail swished happily behind her. Jordan smiled as he wrapped an arm around her and kissed her forehead. "I dern sure will!" She giggled again "Good. Cause they're a gift from Bastet."

"What's going on out he- WOAH, MONICA WHAT HAPPENED?!" The couple rolled their eyes before they turned to the new voice "Don't be so loud, you dumb!" Eddie giggled "But you just yelled at me, you dick!" Jordan went to speak but was cut off by an extremely loud "SHUT THE F*** UP! ME AND SEA ARE TRYING TO F***ING SLEEP." Eddie giggled silently "Well f***. I forgot people were still sleeping.." Jordan just rolled his eyes. "Well..? What happened to Monica?" "Oh I just got some new appendages from Bastet! I'm part cat now~!" Eddie giggled softly before he spoke quietly "Aww that's so cool! I bet Jordan here was happy to see that. Boss man's got a weird obsession with cats.." "HEY!" Jordan yelled, forgetting the warning in James' voice. Eddie shushed him quietly before another loud yell of "I WILL F***ING SHOVE MY S*** IN YOUR FACE IF YOU YELL AGAIN HORDAN! SHUT THE F*** UP!" Jordan frowned as Eddie fell to the floor, trying to stifle his laughter just as a sleepy Aleks walked in the room only to trip over Eddie. "The f***...?" He asked groggily "S-sorry Alley...Let me h-help you u-up." Eddie tried to stop his laughter as he stood and helped the half asleep teen up off the floor. After he stood he yawned and finally noticed Jordan and Monica. He gave a quick, lazy wave before he started to shuffle to the kitchen but stopped just at the door and turned around to look at Monica again. He blinked once before he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and glanced at her again. "....So your part cat now?" Monica nodded "...That's cool." Then he turned back and walked into the kitchen, leaving Eddie and Monica chuckling while Jordan just stood there confused. "Uh...okay, then." Eddie just smiled as he followed Aleks into the kitchen.

One by one people started to emerge from their designated rooms, though the peacefully smooth day all went downhill when Dan rushed into the room where everyone had been lounging in. "Guys! Huginn and Muninn just told me something you really need to hear!"  The group gathered around and the events were retold again. "Wait..So he was wearing a mask?" Dan nodded "Yeah. It was just two small circles and a line on it." James frowned as he mumbled "I hope that isn't who I think it is..." Seamus immediately frowned "Do you know him?" James sighed "I dunno about him but I do know that mask." Dan raised a brow "How?" "Well, In elementary school I used to hang out with this guy named Felix and he introduced me to this guy. His real name was Ryan but he insisted on being called Cry so we all called him that...except for Felix on some occasions. But Cry had this really weird mask that he wore and no one knew why he did but he's wore it for as long as I can remember. He had been best friends with Felix since 2nd grade and never showed anyone his face, not even Felix! His mask was just like how you described but if that mask is the same mask...then we'll probably be up against Cry.." Seamus' frown deepened. 'Great another friend to fight...' He thought sadly. Then suddenly a knock sounded from the door and Max stood to go get it. He smiled weakly as he saw Bart and Kelly standing at the door. "What happened?" Kelly asked immediately as they walked into the house fully. "Well Janus payed us a visit last night while we were asleep last night." Bart frowned as he figured out what had made the group sad."Another friend?" James nodded and Bart gave a heavy sigh. "Sorry guys.." "It'll be alright..We just have to get feelings off the battlefield..." Seamus sighed, sad that James was sad and sad that he couldn't intertwine their fingers to comfort him just yet.
