Chapter 1: Secrets

'Last time.' Kid rolled up his sleeves and pulled out a razor. Why he said last time he didn't know. He says it every time but he always does it again. Kid pushed the blade into his wrist and cut across. He watched the blood flow from his wrist and flow into the sink. He didn't know why but he found great release into doing this.

"Kid! Would you hurry up! I still need to do my hair and Patty needs to pee!"

"Gimme a sec!" Kid ran the water and rinsed off his wrist, and the razor. When he was done he put the razor back and rolled down his sleeve. "Here." Kid went out of the bathroom and went down the stairs.

At the D.W.M.A:

"Geez Kid you've been spending way to much time in the bathroom lately." Kid din't say anything he just kept looking at the ground. "Don't ignore me Kid! Why have you been so distant lately?" Once again Kid just sat there. 'Why have I been distant? Because you don't except me... no one does.' Kids eyes started to water. For the longest time he had been feeling like no one really wanted to be his friend. They only tolerated him and was with him because he was Lord Deaths son. As for Liz and Patty he's decided they only joined him so they could be off the streets.

In class:

"Today we will be learning how to resonate souls with other people incase of emergencies. Get into your groups meisters switch weapons with other meisters." The soul eater gang got into their group Patty ran to Black*Star which means Liz followed then Tsubaki went to Maka's side and well... Crona can't exactly switch his weapon. "Looks like were stuck together Kid." All Kid could do is shake his head. 'Stuck... you were forced to be with me... He doesn't actually want me.' Kid his his bangs in his face to hide the tears that were starting to form in the corners of his eyes.

After the lesson:

"The meister or weapon you were with will now be your partner for this week, which means weapons you will live in the meisters house you went with. Class dismissed." The bell rang and everyone ran out. "Well since I'll be with you for awhile I'm gonna stop at my place and get clothes. I'll be at your place in half an hour. Sound cool?" Kid shook his head and kept walking.

At Gallows Manor:

Kid punched his bedroom wall and let tears flow from his eyes onto the ground. 'Why? Why can' I have friends? And why do I have to like Soul! I always knew I was gay but... Souls straight. Thats very clear when Blairs around... plus he likes Maka...' Kid sobbed even harder. He liked Soul, everyone only used or tolerated him, and he was being bullied on the side. Kid was getting so tired of all these secrets built up. Kid let out a breath and went into his bathroom to cut. He knew it was bad but it was the only thing he knew he could do to relieve all his stress.
