Chapter 2: Dexter & Ned convo w/ Jack interjecting. Intro to Xavier's sister (Xania). Dexter suiting up in the locker room, transformation and start of test

Scene 1: Dexter & Ned Convo
(Size 18)
Dexter punches Ned playfully in his arm and Ned chuckles.

Ned: You did the thing again!

Dexter: And you let me almost get pummeled again.

Ned: Well, you know what I can do Dexter. I'm not your pet Immortal to sic on anyone who looks at you the wrong way.

Dexter: I don't DISAGREE with you.

Dexter sighs and waves away in Ned's direction. Ned is a bit confused as he looks down at Dexter. But from Dexter's POV, he is waving off Jack who is poking at Ned.

Dexter (think): I can still kick you from time to time, yknow?

Jack smiles and transforma into a black cat with a white ear

Jack: Try me. *smirks*

Dexter lunges to kick Jack Cat, but Ned yanks him back and lifts him up by his bag strap.

Ned: Dexter! Don't scare him away! It hasn't done anything yet.

Dexter frowns at Ned and slips out of his grasp before looking behind them. He is confused and looks around. Ned is confused by Dexter as Jack Cat climbs him and lands on his shoulder. They look at eachother, questioning Dexter.

Ned: ...What are you doing?
Dexter: They aren't chasing us? I gave them an empty quark and said there was money in it.

Dexter took out his two remaining quarks and tosses one to Ned.

Dexter: Check that!

Dexter turns his own quark on and sees the 0 indicator pop up. He looks over at Ned with a weak face.

Ned: This is empty.

*Dexter gag reaction*

Scene 2: Locker Room and student interactions
Dexter walks into the locker room with his bag, chewing on a bun he got last chapter, and his school uniform slightly modified. He is holding a textbook with a folder in it.. He looks around and finds Ned.

He throws his bag at Ned and it hits Ned and falls to the ground. He looks behind him and sees Dexter and smirks.

Ned: Oh, its just you.

Ned's orange snake eyes are revealed and Dexter's eyes widen. Dexter taps his fingers below his eyes to signify the contact lenses. Ned perks up and digs in his locker and bag to put them back on his face.

Ned: Thanks bro.

Dexter: Just be careful next time.

Dexter sets his bag and materials up on the locker near Ned.

Ned: Whats that?

Dexter: Alot of stuff. Some notes, some textbook pages that fell out, and some momentos from Professor Amilu. Such a weirdo.

Ned: They hire anyone fresh out of Tertiary school these days, I swear. Nervous?

Dexter: About the fact that I could die or get hurt multiple times in the coming hours and it would be totally legal and allowed? No, I'm feeling peachy.

Ned: Well, you have those teleporting powers. No one here got powers, D. If anyone can pass, even if the Venaxol Serum doesn't work, then it's you.
