Brother

Prolouge

Nico was shocked and saddened at the same time. His father, Hades, God of the Underworld and the dead, just told him that his best friend, his brother, was alive. Tom Marvolo Riddle was alive. Nico went to celebrate, he thought Tom would have been dead by now but his fathers grim expression stop from doing so.

"I'm sorry to inform you of this Nico, but Tom Riddle is no longer your childhood friend. He is evil, he created horcruxes to make himself immortal, he wants to start a war and kill all mortals or non-wizards. He must be stopped at all costs"

Nico sucked in a deep breath. Why must everything in his life turn to shit? He didn't want to have to fight his once childhood friend but he guessed he had no choice. Great. "Wait, did you say non-wizards?"

"Yes Nico. Wizards and Witches are real. Not to long after you left for the casino, Tom was visited by Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he then informed Tom that he was a wizard. Tom then got obsessed with the dark arts and became a dark lord causing chaos and murdering innocent wizards and muggles or as we call them Mortals. He has to be taken care of. "
Hades leaned back in his throne. His was not happy. His prized son, savior of the world, was now being thrown into ever more trouble, all because of Riddle. Tom Riddle was a disgrace to human life, creating Horcruxes was the worst sin you could commit, in Hades eyes. Because not only are you achieving immortality, but you are taking it at the life of others. Riddle will surely pay for this.

Nico, however, was very close to breaking down, "He has to be taken care of." Nico wasn't only going to stop him but he must kill him as well. Back at the orphanage Nico didn't have much, except his darling sister Bianca and his best friend/brother Tom. Tom was weird, and all the kids downright avoided, which made him and Nico a perfect match. Not only that but him and Bianca got on well. Bianca took on the roll as big sister to both of them. If any of the bigger kids said a word about Tom or Nico they were gonna be on the other end of Bianca's fist. But Tom took care of them as well because he had magic.
'I guess it all makes sense now' Nico thought bitterly. Whenever any of the other girls made fun of Bianca's hat or the fact that she'd rather play with her younger brothers, bad things would happen to them. Bad things that Nico didn't wanna talk about. Bianca, Tom and Nico, that was them. Their little family.
But now. Not only was Nico going to have to live without his sister but he'd have to contribute towards his brothers death, if not kill Tom himself. Nico was in denial a little bit, how could this happen?

"I-I don't believe. Sure Tom was a fucked up kid, but he would never turn into a mass murderer!"
Nico was almost in hysterics now. Hades rose from his throne and laid a hand on his sons shoulders.
"Remember Luke Castellan?"
Nico nodded his head slowly.
"Even those with good hearts can stray towards evil but Toms heart was never good to begin with. I know this must be hard for you, son, but you must understand, there has to be something done. Tom is not your brother anymore. He's your enemy."

Nico glanced up at Lady Hecate as she passed Nico his wand.

"Do you know what to do?"
Hecate asked. Of course she had already told him but Hecate wanted to make sure him didn't screw things up. Nico nodded in reassurance.

"I'm going to be staying with Tom and pose as a Death Eater after proving that it is really me. I will then work as a double agent, giving information to your son Albus Dumbledore as he is already informed that I am a Demigod and have relations with Tom, my goal is to aid Tom enough so that he is not suspicious but not enough to cause any damage."

Nico slowly breathed in. 'He is no longer my brother, he is an evil man, with evil intentions.' Nico smoothed down his shirt, it was a black button up. His father, as well as Hecate, told him to change, because he is posing as a death eater he must look the part. So here he is wearing a black button down, with slacks and dress shoes.

Hades nodded towards a trunk beside Nico. Before waving his hand, the trunk melted away into the shadows.
"All of your belongs are pack away in there, simply call for it and it will appear. And remember, you're traveling to the Malfoy Manor"

Nico bowed one last time before his Father and Hecate.

"I will not fail"

And with that he melted into the shadows.

Woah. So that happened.
Now as you may know (if you've read "we're going to Hogwarts?") I don't really stick to cannon things much. I just do what I wanna do, okay?
