Chapter 6

Chapter 6 - Round 1

Everyone was inside the waiting area before the start of the first round. Ochako sat next to Izuku infront of a table along with some other players. She was just thankful that the players surrounding her are not so frightening and intimidating.

"Hey, Deku," Ochako called out.

Izuku looked over to her after finishing talking to the person on his left. "What is it, dolly?"

She continued. "I don't even know how to play the first round."

"It's okay, they'll announce it soon." His words were telling her that there is no need of doubt.

Ochako nodded back. She felt terrified and afraid of what will happen to her in this horrifying game. She doesn't want to get hurt or anything. Not to mention, her ankle was still a bit swollen and the recovery wasn't even complete.

She hopes she will be alright.

Out of nowhere, she sucked in all her courage and spoke. "Hey, Deku, what happened last time with the incident that guy was talking about?"

Izuku flinched a bit but was quite aware that she would ask such thing due to curiosity and Kacchan blurting it out.

He sighed and kept silent for a while. "I'll talk about it later."

Ochako looked down a bit, a little ashamed for asking such personal question. She hoped it didn't affect him or anything.

"Oh, sorry." She muttered.

"I don't think they're gonna announce it this time." He suddenly said.

She looked over to him. "Why is that?"

"The game is gonna start pretty much now and they still didn't announce anything." He added with a smile along with a chuckle. "I guess this will be bad for newbies."

She looked puzzled. "I don't understand."

He gazed at her and began explaining. "Basically, each team needs to stab three people. If the team gets a total of three stabs, then their in."

Ochako's eyes were horrified with the word, stab. He's making the word sound like it is meant for a game for little children.

"But there's only one rule. Do not kill anyone." He added.

"D-Don't kill anyone?"

How is that possible? A fatal stab could lead to massive amount of blood loss which results to death.

He smiled. "So here's what you need to do, dolly. I want you to not stab anyone. I'll do it myself. I only want you to avoid any serious injuries, got it?"

Huh?

"W-What? I don't need to do anything?"

He nodded. "Don't worry, I'll do the stabbing."

Izuku was making sound like he was looking down on her. Well, he was right about doing so. She is weak and inexperience, all she would do here is to just be a drag to him.

The male noticed Ochako's slight frown and confusion. He chuckled at her expression.

"Dolly, I'm not making you do this because you're frail," He held her hand on the table. "It's because if you would stab a person, that person would die, confirmed."

Her widened along with her mouth gaping. "What do you mean?"

"I spent years training how to stab a person without getting themselves killed. Even the people around here are criminals and murderers which are experienced too." He pointed at the players around while speaking.
