the week dragged on and i eventually set up to meet with my peer tutor today, friday, with mrs lockes.

she said to just meet in her room so we can meet.

she told me that it was a nice boy.

being that it was a boy, i was somewhat nervous. im really dumb around boys. but this was for my grade so it was important.

besides, he was probably a nerdy little kid anyways.

i rubbed my hands together as i walked up to her room.

i walked into the room as ms lockes told me to go sit down. beside her was a boy.

he had blonde hair the was swooped across his head (fetus luke hair) , and i could see his eyes shine across the room.

i started walking over to the table he was at and sat across from him.

he had a black lip ring and he wore a black leather jacket with a flannel underneath.

he smiled and a dimple pocked out.

mrs lockes said "natalie, do you know luke?"

"um, ive seen him around."

he smirked at me and said "hi natalie, im luke"

he had nice teeth. like really nice teeth.

i shook the thoughts ot of my head of him being cute. he was probably a mean boy.

"well, luke will help you with todays lesson and help explain it to you today, ill be back in a few minutes."

she walked out of the room leaving me and luke alone.

"so natalie, lets learn about reflexive verbs." what the hell was that?

he got up and came to sit next to me. wow did he smell good.

he handed me a paper and started explaining them to me in a way i actually understood it.

after 20 minutes of doing work, the bell rang, signaling the end of the after school period.

i got up and packed my bags and luke did the same. it was awkward because we didnt say anything.

he was wearing black skinny jeans and combat boots, if you were wondering.

when i stood up i looked like a midget next to him. i looked up at him and thanked him for helping me.

"no problemo." he smiled and laughed at his own joke.

"wow, good one." i rolled my eyes and smirked.

he told me to have a good weekend and said see you monday before i watched him walk off to god knows where.

at least i didnt embarrass myself.

ms lockes ran in apologizing that she never came back during the class and asked how it went.

"really well! i ready feel a little better"

she smiled and i said goodbye before walking out the building.

i looked for my mom but she wasnt here yet.

i sat on a bench against the school and waited. luke walked out of the building, the door slamming after him.

he was with 3 other boys.

"hey natalie, long time no see."

i smiled and waved as he continued walking.

wow he was cute.

this is going to be a long year.
