it was the first time...

our subject was algebra, aka the longest period yet. every second was like an hour, especially that this period starts from 1-2 pm, which is the most dreadful hour.

some were already asleep, while some barely kept their eyes open, including me.

i remember frowning as i stared at the board filled with numbers and letters. i couldn't even spare you a glance since you seated right at the back of my seat today.

but i was alarmed upon hearing your name. i couldn't help but overhear you and your seatmate's conversation.

she was asking if i was really the one who was laughing at you in pe class. then you asked her my name with an evident confusion in your tone.

unconsciously, i smiled.

it was the first time you spoke my name.
