*Alex's POV*

"Mum, this is delicious!" Zayn stated, stuffing his mouth with more food, like the animal he was.

"Thank you but Alex made most of it." Tricia said, patting me on the back. I just smiled and shrugged.

"I helped too mum!" Safaa said, waving her hands.

"Yeah, and of course we had Safaa's lovely help." Tricia patted Safaa's arm. I laughed and continued eating.

I missed sitting round the table for dinner. My parents were very busy people so I used to come round to Zayn's a lot and I would always be welcomed. It was so homey and sweet here and they treated me like I was part of their family.

I felt something tap my foot under the table. I snapped out of my trance and looked up to see Zayn who was sitting across from me.

He smiled and stuck his tongue out, crossing his eyes. I giggled a bit as Zayn winked at me.

"Please tell me that you two are going to get back together soon." Doniya said, eyeing Zayn and I carefully.

"Yeah, that would be awesome!" Waliyah stated.

"Yes, it will. Then you will get married and have your own lovely children of your own. I would be such a proud grandmother." Tricia smiled.

"Muum!" Zayn whined, blushing furiously.

"Yes Zaynie?" Tricia said, pinching Zayn's cheeks. I laughed.

"Zayn you look adorable." I smirked. He stuck his tongue out again, causing me to laugh again.

I stood up and picked up all the plates.

"Dear, you don't have to." Tricia told me.

"It's fine, honestly." I said taking them to the kitchen.

"Just leave them in the dishwasher." Tricia said. I put them in then walked back to the living room to find that everyone was standing up.

"We're taking a picture!" Safaa said excitedly. I smiled and walked to stand beside Zayn.

"Say Cheese!" Tricia told us. I felt Zayn's arm go round my waist. I looked up and he winked at me.

"CHEESE!" we all said as the light flashed.

"It's so cute." I smiled, looking at the picture.

"We better go. It's getting late." Zayn said, looking at his watch. 8.25pm.

Safaa frowned but wrapped her arms around Zayn's waist. Waliyha and Doniya walked over, hugging him too.

Tricia walked over to me and squeezed me in a hug.

"Thank you so much for everything. You're like a mum to me, So thank you." I said hugging her again.

"It's no problem, sweetheart. Look you've got me crying now, I'm going to miss you and Zaynie so much." She said, wiping her eyes.

"Don't worry. We'll be back soon, I promise." I said to her as Zayn walked over.

"Mum don't cry!" he said quickly before pulling her in a hug.

The 3 girls came to me and crushed me in a giant group hug.

"Bye guys. I'll miss you." I said hugging them tight.

"Bye Alex. And thanks for the presents." Safaa said. The other girls nodded in agreement.

I switched numbers with them before Zayn linked arms with me and we walked to the car.

"I really missed them." I said, putting my seat belt on.

"I know. I think they were more glad to see you than they were to see me." Zayn laughed.

I smiled and looked out the window. The lights were bright and the stars were shining in the sky. They looked like little diamonds glittering above.

I looked at all the houses we passed and wondering what was going on inside. You never know whats happening behind closed doors.

"Lexa." Zayn said quietly, shaking me out of my daydream. I looked around and noticed that we were parked in front of my house.

I got out of the car and walked towards the front door, Zayn following me behind me.

"Thank you for taking me with you." I said to Zayn. He just shrugged and leaned against the wall.

"It was awesome seeing you again." He smiled.

There was a slight pause before Zayn took my hands. He pulled me closer to him and leaned down to kiss me. He stopped when his nose touched mine.

"No more interruptions." he whispered.

My eyes flickered down to his lips before I leaned in and kissed him. His hands moved to my back and I put mine behind his neck. His kisses were so gentle and soft. We both pulled away, foreheads touching.

"Alexandra, I think I lo--" Zayn started but got cut off by voices behind us.

"He's going to say it." one said.

"Shh. guys." another said.

Zayn and I quickly pulled apart and turned around to see Sophie, Ellie and Aria peeking through the door. They saw us looking and grinned sheepishly, opening the door wider.

"Oh hi guys. You're back. That was quick." Aria said, looking at her non-existent watch.

"Yeah." Sophie smiled nervously.

"We're just gonna go now." Ellie smiled pulling Aria and Sophie inside with her.

I turned back to Zayn.

"Sorry about that. Kinda ruined the moment." I apologised.

"It's okay. It's getting late and the boys might be wondering where I am." Zayn said as he started to walk backwards to his car.

"Bye!" I waved at him.

"See Ya. I'll call you." He said before stumbling backwards over a rock. I laughed and opened the door to go inside.

Sophie, Ellie and Aria were standing there guiltily.

"Hi!" They smiled sheepishly.

"Hey you little noseys." I said, rolling my eyes and walking upstairs.

I plopped myself onto my bed. Today was such a good day. And I kissed Zayn!
