Tw: mentions of poisoning (emetic) and kidnapping
Taro's Pov (this is just what was going through his mind and what was happening with him in the previous chapter)
As I had turned a corner I ran into a female student causing her to fall harshly on the ground along with my book. Hastily I gathered my book and helped grab her stuff, once I was back up on my feet I quickly stuck out my hand to help her up "Hey are you okay? I'm soo sorry." I muttered she just looked at my hand for a bit, but then eventually she grabbed it and I pulled her up with ease she was quite light and small.
I took a second to look at her she had fair skin and her black hair was tied in a high ponytail with two parts left out and bangs covering her forehead I couldn't see the entirety of her face because she was fixated on our hands. "Are you okay?" I questioned her, but it seemed to go unnoticed as she kept looking at our intertwined hands her hand was so tiny compared to mine. After she had let go of my hand she tilted her head up to look at me and I felt my breath catch in my throat. She had these mesmerizing silvery gray eyes, her cheeks tinted a light pink, and her small pink pouty lips were opened agape as her gaze met mine.
Saying that she was pretty would be an understatement, but I quickly shook the thought out of my head I had to go. I walked past the girl mumbling yet another "sorry." before taking off into a sprint to Osana who was turned away from me. "Osana-Chan." I said letting my presence be known as I made my way in front of her. "Where were you BAKA! I-It's not like I care or anything." She said crossing her arms. "I'm sorry I woke up late and then I ran into someone." I say as I put my hands up in defense then the bell rang. "Come on lets go." I said as I started to walk away.
For all I can remember my family and Osana's family have been neighbors so we grew up together. Despite her being a grade bellow and her gruff attitude we're still best friends; even when we were kids she had the same spunk in her that I have always admired. It made her Osana and I wouldn't change our friendship or anything for the world.
We walked in a comfortable silence before reaching her class where she broke the silence. "Meet me on the roof for lunch a-and don't be late BAKA!" I placed a hand on her shoulder. "How about we meet at the fountain like the old days?" I suggested she simply nods face turning red. I remove my hand before taking a step back waving as I made my way to the stairs.
<Time skip>
After we made it onto the roof we walked over to some benches as I took in the nice warm sun rays "It's nice out." I said as I looked over to Osana. "It really is." She mused. We ate in a comfortable silence that was until Saki came out of the doors and onto the roof dragging someone with Kokona slowly following behind them.
I ignored the girls until I heard the sound of laughter I shifted my gaze to them across the way. That's when I notice the girl I had ran into this morning. "What are you looking at BAKA!" Osana questioned me as she looked over to the group of girls.
I pointed at the girl with black hair. "Do you know her?" I questioned Osana as I turned to look at her she had followed my finger to the girl. "Ayano Aishi. She's in my class and she's a total freak." She started I nodded only half listening while I stared at the girl. "Why do you even care Baka!" She finished as she turned away from me crossing her arm over her chest. "I ran into her this morning I was just curious."
I saw the girl turn her head looking over at us as a small smile grazing over her lips before she turned her head to look in my direction. We made eye contact I felt a smile grow on my face after a couple of seconds her face started to became red. Quickly she looked down and slowly brought her hands to her face.
